This fragrance is feminine, delicate, and cozy. Although it's supposed to contain peach, I don't really detect it. Instead, it's a blend of vanilla, powder, and musk. It's not your typical powdery scent; the vanilla and musk make it soft, almost like skin scent. I'm not a huge fan of powdery fragrances, so I don't use it often, but people around me absolutely love it. It's especially popular with men, and women say it smells like a baby's scent. It's difficult to wear this outside of winter. The lingering scent doesn't quite suit me either. While I generally don't like powdery fragrances, this is probably the best among them, but still not quite my taste. I actually prefer the body emulsion much more. I only use the emulsion in fall and winter - the lasting scent is incredible. If you like powdery scents, try both the perfume and the emulsion. The emulsion is truly amazing. - st********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 8, 2022
I bought the 100ml bottle for around $200 at SAKS, applying points to the original $300 price tag. For me, it has a distinctly powdery, nutty scent with a slight sweetness. The fragrance reminds me of soft, white fur - clean and fluffy. Interestingly, one day when I spritzed it on my sleeve, I caught a whiff of sweet peach! It seems the scent can vary depending on the weather, your skin, and who's wearing it. Overall, it gives off a clean and innocent vibe. While I appreciate the vintage feel of the perfume bottle, the packaging box is a letdown - it's a cheap paper case that doesn't live up to the $300 price point... - dl*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinJan 31, 2022
Personally, I found Luna more to my liking. Fragrance is really a matter of individual taste, so I highly recommend smelling it before you buy. The longevity was very... disappointing. Even reapplying every hour left something to be desired. - aj******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedDec 10, 2020
The scent is sweet, soft, cute, and feminine at the same time. I bought it without even trying it just because it's Song Hye-kyo's perfume, and I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase. The price is a bit disappointing... It's quite expensive. However, the fragrance is absolutely delightful. This scent is more suitable for winter use rather than summer. - co******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 18, 2020
I bought this perfume on a whim for my 22nd birthday trip to Hong Kong, with an early morning flight. It was during the busiest time of my life, when I felt most confident. This fragrance holds many memories for me. It suits my taste well, so I still enjoy wearing it in fall and winter. The longevity and sillage are excellent - just 1-2 sprays last almost all day. There's not much to dislike about it. However, since it's a warm scent, it might be a bit too heavy for spring and summer wear. Perfume longevity can vary from person to person, but for me, it lasts so long that even a 50ml bottle is enough to use for a long time. While it's not on Hwahae, if you like light, fresh, and sweet scents, I recommend Luna. For those who prefer a more elegant fragrance, try the Duchess Rose from the Portrait series. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 12, 2020
It's in the cozy fragrance family, I'd say. The scent has a soft, powdery vanilla vibe with just a hint of floral notes mixed in. It's not like those overpowering musk or ambroxan scents that smell like raw skin, nor is it the typical powdery scent like Eau de Charlotte or Petit Maman. This perfume is cozy and gentle, with a touch of floral that makes it clean and pretty. It's perfect for late autumn through winter wear. You're asking if they just stuck a sticker on the glass bottle? I keep having to press down one corner of my sticker that keeps lifting... I mean, sure, the fragrance is important, but isn't the bottle design equally crucial? - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 27, 2020
I absolutely adore Penhaligon's, and this fragrance is my absolute favorite among their collection. The scent is truly luxurious and sophisticated. The price is wickedly high though. For me, it's still a luxury item I can't quite justify... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 22, 2019
The top note surprised me a bit as it was different from what I expected, but after about 30 minutes, a truly solid and powdery middle note emerges and lingers subtly. It's so tempting to spray it liberally! While the longevity is better than EDT or cologne, you might need to reapply if you want it to last all day. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedSep 27, 2019
Thanks to this, I fell in love with Penhaligon's. It has a powdery scent that reminds me of fragrances often encountered in Europe. (Personally, this was my introduction, and Penhaligon's Peoneve became my all-time favorite perfume!) I always buy 100ml bottles when purchasing perfume, but since I can't use it up quickly, the scent doesn't last as long and sometimes changes over time. Even another Penhaligon's fragrance that a friend likes experienced a change in scent after being opened for a while... By the way, buy this at duty-free shops. I bought it in the UK, and it wasn't cheap! However, if you visit a UK store, you can sample all the fragrances. They're not stingy with testers, so you can try everything freely. That's how I discovered my favorite, Peoneve. If you get refills at UK stores, they'll fill your bottle with your desired fragrance at a lower price. For those who think buying different 50ml perfumes is a waste of money, try this method! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 25, 2019
First off, the fragrance is absolutely divine. I was initially intrigued by Penhaligon's, knowing they've received the Royal Warrant twice. I wondered how exceptional their perfumes must be to earn such an honor. Honestly, it's the most exquisite scent I've ever experienced. It's sweet and powdery, with an undeniable air of luxury. Every time I wear it, people ask what I'm wearing because it smells so incredible. Though they have many other products, I find myself reaching for this one time and time again. The main drawback is the price - it's quite expensive. I purchased the 100ml bottle through international shipping, and it cost me nearly $200. Secondly, while it's a positive that I don't want to use anything else, it could also be seen as a negative. You might be better off buying a perfume from a regular beauty store. Don't become a slave to luxury fragrances like I have!
