  Pros

  As someone with extremely oily skin in summer, my makeup used to break down within hours due to excess sebum. That's why I decided to try this product. For those whose foundation or cushion immediately melts off - I highly recommend this! It definitely controls oil and has great staying power. The coverage is also excellent. Although I was hesitant about the Light Beige shade being the brightest option (as I usually use shade 21), it actually wasn't too light when I tried it on.

  Cons

  I wouldn't recommend this for touch-ups. The cushion itself is extremely matte, so you need to prep your skin thoroughly beforehand. While it was perfect in the peak of summer when I couldn't even feel dryness, now that it's cooled down a bit, even my oily skin sometimes feels tight after application. Absolutely not recommended for those with dry skin - this is a cushion best suited for oily skin types in summer!

  Pros

  It's incredibly matte and powdery. If you have dry skin, it might feel like a drought on your face! But for those with oily skin, I highly recommend it! Just keep in mind that because it's so matte, even oily skin types might experience some pilling. The key is to have a solid skincare base to prevent this. It seems to hold up well against sweat too! When I went to Jeju Island and climbed Seongsan Ilchulbong, I didn't need to touch up my makeup once during the entire hike up and down. Surprisingly, my makeup hadn't broken down much at all. So, I'd say the staying power is pretty good.

  Cons

  I can't think of any major downsides. Just remember that if you don't prep your skin properly, it might pill as soon as you apply it.

  Tip

  Before applying, make sure to cleanse your face and apply your toner, emulsion, and a soothing gel. Apply this product when your skin is in a well-hydrated state.

  This product has an incredibly matte finish, so I mainly use it in summer. Last year when I used it, it felt a bit drying and had some pilling, but this year the finish is just right - comfortably matte with excellent staying power. I didn't even need to touch up my makeup! While the coverage is quite high, I'd recommend using it with a concealer for best results. I'd recommend this more for combination or oily skin types rather than dry skin!

  If you don't prep your skin with a solid base, it might pill or feel dry after some time. Not recommended for those with dry skin!

  If you really hydrate and prep your skin well before applying this product, the staying power is fantastic.

  Pros

  As someone with oily skin, this is my holy grail cushion foundation! It doesn't break down easily, and the staying power is impressive - it holds up well for about 4 hours, even on my very oily complexion.

  Cons

  The shade range could use some improvement. I have a fair complexion, and even the Light Beige shade seemed a bit dark for me.

  Pros

  First off, I highly recommend this for those with oily skin, especially in summer! My entire face is quite oily, but this product leaves a powder-like finish. Even when applied outdoors as oil starts to surface, it absorbs the excess oil and leaves skin feeling fresh! I didn't experience many blemishes, and the coverage is average. The adherence and lasting power were also quite good!

  Cons

  It doesn't completely cover the pores on the nose, but it's fine if you blend well with the puff! Those with dry skin might find it too drying, though.

  Tip

  Here's a tip: Dampen a beauty blender, use it instead of the cushion puff, pick up the product with the damp sponge and apply. It spreads well, leaves a fresh finish without being too drying. I've used this method a lot! I really recommend applying with a damp beauty blender.

  I bought this for my oily summer skin, and surprisingly it absorbed the excess oil well and had good staying power. I really enjoyed using it!

  The only downside was that it tended to emphasize dead skin cells a bit, which was disappointing.

  Photo 1 shows the Real Powder Cushion in Light Beige, and photo 2 is the Missha Tension in shade 21. I usually use shade 21, but the Etude House staff recommended Light Beige, so I bought it. I was really worried it might be too light, but after trying it on, there wasn't much difference. Hmm... I did feel like it applied a bit thickly. Highly recommended for very oily skin! It has great staying power and is truly the best cushion for oily skin types.

  Cons

  This cushion is absolutely unusable for dry skin... It's very drying. Even for my oily skin, it was quite... well, it separated on my nose and forehead area.

  Tip

  If you prep your skin well with a solid skincare routine, this becomes a total holy grail product.

  Pros

  The staying power is impressive! It gives you baby-soft skin even without using a powder compact. The shade was really nice too.

  Cons

  In winter, it tends to flake off when I go outside. If I apply it over a moisturizing product, it goes on well, but starts to separate again once I'm out.

  Tip

  Make sure to apply a generous amount of a moisturizing product before using this.

  Pros

  I used this well during the summer. I have dry skin, but despite its matte finish, it didn't look noticeably cakey in the summer heat. I used to finish with a no-sebum powder over a moisturizing cushion, but the oil control wouldn't last long and my face would get shiny again. Plus, touch-ups would clump on top of the powder. So I looked for a matte, powdery cushion from the start and bought this one. It really applies with a matte, velvety finish, so I didn't need any powder. The ingredients are good too.

  Cons

  It gets messy when it breaks down. Also, it settles into nose creases and wrinkles badly, and emphasizes sebum, so I had to use a different foundation on my nose area. My friends who tested it said they could feel the dryness from the roots, but for me, as someone with dry skin, it was okay if I applied emulsion well beforehand. However, when used for touch-ups, it looks very cakey and applies thickly.

  Tip

  Use it after layering skincare well. It can be drying in fall and winter.
