I loved how refreshing the toner felt, giving a true 'icy' sensation. It's genuinely cool on the skin. While the spray is powerful, it doesn't quite feel like a mist. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it for super sensitive skin. For an extra cooling effect, try storing the toner in the fridge. It works wonders when you want to cool down your face! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 1, 2017
During the scorching summer, I loved applying this to a cotton pad and placing it on my skin. It felt incredibly refreshing and instantly cooled down my skin temperature. It's extremely drying due to the lack of oil content. Because of this, I only use it to bring down my skin temperature. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 23, 2017
While I might not use it much in winter, I'll definitely reach for it again on hot summer days! I got it during a buy-one-get-one-free deal at Watson's for just 16,800 won - what a bargain! (The sale runs until August 25th, by the way!) My skin tends to have larger pores, with whiteheads around my nose, between my eyebrows, and on my chin. My forehead gets those pesky little bumps too. As time passes, touch-ups become a must! But on scorching days, when I'm out and about, my makeup starts to separate. Oil seeps out of my pores, leaving my skin looking shiny. The sun heats up my face, making touch-ups seem pointless... it only made my skin look messier. That's when this product came to the rescue! Its instant cooling effect lowered my face temperature, and those open pores naturally calmed down. When I needed to touch up, using this ice toner before reapplying makeup worked like a charm! Even for initial makeup application, after letting my skincare fully absorb, I'd use the ice toner to cool my skin before applying makeup. This really improved how well the makeup adhered to my skin. The amount is surprisingly generous too. Unless you're overzealously spraying, it'll last you quite a while! The size makes it a bit inconvenient to carry around, and it's slightly heavy. There's also a faint gas smell, though it's not too strong. If you're buying it without the buy-one-get-one deal or outside of a sale period, the price is quite steep! It's best to buy Reskin products during their discount periods. Don't spray this directly on your face! You should apply it using a puff or cotton pad. I use something called 'Clean Puff' from Watson's. Unlike regular air puffs, Clean Puffs don't absorb the product. You can wipe off any residue with a wet wipe, keeping it clean for repeated use. Since the puff doesn't absorb the toner when you spray it, you can use a small amount and still get full coverage. - bk******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAug 4, 2017
When I first tried it as a tester, I was intrigued by the bubbling sound and decided to buy it. My skin doesn't usually get blemishes no matter what I apply, so I typically buy any basic skincare product. This one is especially great in summer! The cooling effect is fantastic - after work, I cleanse and apply it like a mask. It seems to reduce redness and calm my skin. The bubbling sound when you apply it is fascinating. I do exfoliation every two or three days, and I've noticed a significant soothing effect! I focus on applying it around my nose where pores can enlarge, and there's a noticeable difference between days I use it and days I don't. It has quite a strong gas-like scent. Because of this, I first spray a little in the air, then apply it to a cotton pad before using. I highly recommend using this for calming pores after exfoliation or nose packs. It's also great when your skin feels hot due to warm weather. Remember, it's not good for your skin to overheat! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 25, 2017
I have large pores and my face tends to get hot easily. When I apply this using a cotton pad, I love the cooling effect it provides! It's fine overall, except for the volatile scent. I don't recall any particular discomfort while using it. Instead of wiping it off with a cotton pad, I prefer to leave it on my slightly damp face. People who tend to have hot skin will appreciate the cooling effect it offers! - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 17, 2017
I bought this based on a friend's recommendation. They said if you apply it briefly after squeezing blackheads, the redness disappears by the next day! Since I'm sensitive to heat, I decided to get it to help cool down my face too. First off, it's incredibly refreshing! As someone who tends to run hot, this feels amazingly cool! For touch-ups, I spray it on a puff and gently press it onto my face before applying makeup. It leaves my skin feeling both hydrated and velvety smooth. The gas-like smell is quite strong... :( I think this doesn't suit me well. When I apply it to my face, it stings all over, especially on areas where I've squeezed blemishes - it's extremely painful there. I try to avoid using it on bare skin as much as possible. I'll have to limit its use to touch-ups only. I recommend testing it before purchasing! It seems others are using it successfully, which makes me a bit envious. It's better to use this with a beauty blender or air puff! Cotton pads tend to leave fibers on your face. Instead of wiping, gently press it into your skin when applying. For those with super sensitive skin, try using it after applying your toner and emulsion. If it still stings, you might want to limit its use to touch-ups only or avoid it altogether, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 31, 2017
It's refreshingly cool, which would be great for soothing redness on hot summer days Despite using it with a cotton pad, there's a lingering gas smell. The sensation is a bit harsh (due to its intense coolness) - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 4, 2016
It's truly as cold as its name suggests! Seems great for calming irritated skin. Rather than using it daily, I think it's best to soak a cotton pad and place it on your cheeks where they tend to get hot. Leave it on for about five minutes as a soothing treatment. The quantity is so small, it runs out too quickly. I used it every morning and evening. Even though I bought two bottles during a buy-one-get-one-free promotion, I went through them in just three months. And that's with trying to use it sparingly! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 22, 2016
First off, I bought this to minimize pores and soothe my skin because I have an insane amount of sebum and my face is super oily. The coolness is amazing - even without refrigeration, when you shake it and apply it with a cotton pad, it feels like ice on your skin. So refreshing! If you keep it in the fridge, it's startlingly cold when you use it! What I love most is how effectively it reduces oiliness. My nose is incredibly greasy, so I focus on applying it there. After a while, when I touch my skin, it feels like there's a smooth, powdery layer - not like it's blocking anything, but more like it's allowing less oil to surface and calming everything down. It's fantastic! I use it intensively after a nose pack or when my skin feels extra oily compared to usual. Well... it's not exactly cheap, but I think the performance justifies the price. Since I don't use it daily, it lasts quite a while, which is satisfying. The scent can be a bit off-putting at first due to the butane - I hold my breath until that initial smell dissipates. Once it does, the fragrance is quite pleasant. Also, because it contains alcohol, it can be a bit drying. I have combination dehydrated skin - dry underneath but super oily on top, and I'm prone to blemishes. When I use this toner first, my skin's surface feels super clean and matte, which is great, but it feels tight underneath. So even though it's a toner, I feel like I need to apply something else before using it. I keep this in the fridge and use it after a nose pack, when my skin feels extra oily, or when my face feels hot. It definitely helps control oil, but the drying effect is a downside. So even though it's a bit of a hassle, I apply a watery toner first, then this product, followed quickly by a hydrating cream. Sometimes I even apply it after my whole skincare routine. It doesn't really feel like a traditional toner to me - it's more like a treatment product I use in specific situations.
