Personally, I much prefer the orange scent over this product. If you have frizzy, dry hair that tends to poof up, I highly recommend the orange version. I used to struggle with my hair getting messy by afternoon, and no amount of essence would help. But after switching to this shampoo, I've escaped the 'dog hair' look. It's truly a life-changing shampoo! There's nothing particularly bad, except maybe that the scent is a bit strong? It feels slightly less 'healthy' than I expected. I really can't recommend the orange scent enough. I'm not sure why it's not listed here! - in******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 1, 2017
The scent is absolutely delightful! When you rinse with this shampoo, it feels like it's giving your scalp a refreshing cleanse. It would be perfect for those with oily hair or during the summer months. Given the title of 'keratin protein', I expected it to dramatically improve hair health, but that's not the case. To be honest, in this product line, the conditioner and hair mask seem to live up to their reputation more than the shampoo. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 10, 2017
I think I used this throughout 2016! I used it with the conditioner from the same line, and my hair texture improved so much. While I love the scent, my sister wasn't a fan. Since it's a rinse-off product, I don't think the ingredients are a big concern, so I've been using it consistently. Above all, it contains a lot of oils, which really helped improve my hair condition after at-home coloring! Highly recommended!!! The downside is that the volume is a bit small, but I recently bought it on sale at the drugstore for a great price!! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 11, 2016
Personally, I couldn't find a single positive aspect about the shampoo itself. However, I must say the shampoo bottle has an aesthetically pleasing design. First off, despite advertising the use of natural surfactants and plant-derived extracts, the product contains CMIT/MIT - ingredients that sparked controversy for their use in humidifier disinfectants. Had I known this earlier, I wouldn't have made the purchase. I fell for the viral blog posts and advertising claims, only to be shocked when I later checked the full ingredient list. Beyond the ingredients, using this product leaves your hair feeling as rough and stiff as a plastic broom. There's a coating sensation, but it's not a soft one - it's a rigid coating that feels quite unpleasant. This shampoo absolutely requires the use of a treatment or conditioner afterwards. - lo*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 7, 2016
1. First off, there's this unique shampoo scent that's a bit like artificial apple? I didn't mind it and actually liked how it lingered subtly. 2. It lathers well and rinses out faster than supermarket brands. It feels gentler too, which is great. Usually, natural or silicone-free products are gentle but don't lather well, you know? There are two not-so-great ingredients, but still. 3. I used it in summer, and surprisingly, it left my hair less greasy than other shampoos. My scalp felt comfortable too. I think it's better suited for combination to oily hair types rather than dry. 1. Using just the shampoo alone won't give you that 'wow, so silky smooth' feeling. I use this brand's conditioner and hair oil too. With just the conditioner, my hair feels fresh, but it's the hair oil that really completes the silky smooth effect. The hair oil is absolutely recommended - it's amazing how soft it makes your hair! 2. It's a bit disappointing that the bottle doesn't have a pump dispenser.
