The wash-off type mask often feels like the skin has become rough, just as the name suggests. This was better than the calendula one. The addition of kaolin clay seems to help draw out some of the impurities, and the scrubbing action leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft... Once a week seems like the right frequency for me!
Cons
The scent is a bit unpleasant. It starts burning right away, like an intense stinging or prickling sensation... It does get a bit better over time, but it's hard to tolerate for the full 5 minutes. As someone with combination skin that leans more oily, I actually felt dryness after using it. 15 minutes might be better, but the intense irritation makes it hard to complete the full time.
