  The Bobbi Brown stick foundation was my first purchase when I started exploring the brand. I bought it in a hot country, and it was recommended for its sweat-resistant properties. The application technique is to swipe it on thinly and then pat it in with a puff - a method I used frequently as a college student. The lightest shade, Porcelain, matched my bare skin tone perfectly, allowing for a natural-looking finish.

  Cons

  The only downside was that after some use, the stick would suddenly pop out of the tube, which was quite frustrating.

  Easy to carry, takes up less space in your purse than regular foundation. Apply sunscreen, swipe this on, and pat with a cushion for a natural skin look. Shade 21-13 matches well with fair skin. Although it's a stick, it glides on smoothly without feeling stiff.

  The coverage is on the lighter side for a foundation. If you don't cleanse thoroughly, it might lead to blemishes.

  Pros

  I'm really impressed with Bobbi Brown's stick foundation. Given the brand's image, I didn't expect them to have a foundation with such safe ingredients. It's the type that develops a natural glow over time, and despite being a stick foundation, it doesn't feel drying at all. It provides great coverage, so I can apply a thin layer all over and then layer it a bit more in specific areas. This means I don't need to use a separate concealer, which is fantastic. Above all, as someone whose skin usually breaks out with most foundations, I'm thrilled that this one doesn't cause any blemishes. It's truly unbeatable for me.

  Cons

  Due to its formulation, it can be easier to apply this stick foundation too thickly compared to fluid or cream types. When using a makeup sponge, it gets used up quite quickly, which makes the quantity and price point a bit disappointing.

  Tip

  I found that layering the stick foundation works better for covering blemishes than using a separate concealer. Initially, I used a sponge, but lately, I've switched to a brush. Surprisingly, it doesn't leave as much texture as I expected. While it's not a special tip, using a brush helps the product last longer. If you notice brush strokes on your skin, gently pat the area with the side of the brush - this helps the foundation adhere to the skin naturally and eliminates any visible brush marks. If you're looking for a foundation without PEG or PPG ingredients, and have skin that's particularly sensitive to silicone oils, this might be worth trying. It's a great option for those with super sensitive skin seeking a foundation that works hard for their complexion.

  The shade matches perfectly for those with a light 21 complexion. Despite being a stick foundation, it applies thinly and smoothly. I've found a great technique: first, swipe on the stick foundation, then use the Bobby cushion to blend and mix the two products. This creates an incredibly smooth, flawless finish on the skin!

  Cons

  The price is quite steep for such a small amount of product... Unless I can grab it duty-free, I'm not inclined to repurchase.

  As someone with super sensitive skin, I've had blemishes from every foundation, BB cream, and cushion I've tried. But this one caused absolutely no irritation, and my skin feels incredibly comfortable. It's easy to apply and seems to even out my complexion with a natural-looking color.

  Cons

  Dryness is an issue. I have combination dehydrated skin, and even with a thorough morning skincare routine, it slightly emphasizes dead skin cells and becomes even drier as time passes. Not sure if it's because of the heating, but it's a concern. Also, the price seems a bit high for the amount you get.
