Personally, I often use this to tone down my aegyo-sal (under-eye puff) makeup when I want to emphasize it but in a more subdued way, rather than going for that full puffy aegyo-sal look. I frequently apply it blended with other colors on my aegyo-sal area rather than on my eyelid crease.
ConsThe price... I'm not sure if it's really worth buying unless it's during a buy-one-get-one-free promotion...

Somehow it didn't suit me. It's like a terracotta or yellow-orange shade. Highly recommended for warm skin tones!
ConsExpensive price. Too yellow. Cool-toned folks will struggle to apply even a small amount.

It's really beautiful even when worn on its own.
ConsI can't think of any downsides. Maybe the fact that I've stopped using other base shadows because I'm using this one so much?

Regarding matte eyeshadows, I believe Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown, and Make Up For Ever are the gold standard, but Bobbi Brown takes the crown. The fine particles allow for even color payoff, and it has incredible staying power even on eyes prone to creasing and smudging, no matter what you apply. It's an orange-apricot-beige contouring shade! It's not too dark, so it's perfect for creating a bright, dimensional base that I highly recommend.
ConsThe color is a terracotta-like orange with strong yellow undertones, which can be quite polarizing. I'd suggest testing it out first before committing.
TipFor those with deep undertones who suit high-saturation colors, especially light+autumn strong types, this shade is great for neutralizing redness while adding a bright contour! If you found Ginger too light or pale, and you respond well to yellow and orange tones, I'd recommend trying Toast.

I think I used this exclusively during autumn.
ConsThe price might be an issue... Plus, there are so many similar shades available in drugstores.

I've tried cheaper alternatives due to the price, but in terms of quality, this one's top-notch.
ConsI wish they'd reduce the quantity a bit and lower the price. For someone who doesn't touch up their makeup, it's too much product.
TipYou need to apply it with a brush for proper color payoff. Layering creates a natural shadow effect with just one shade.

It's a beautiful peach shade that works perfectly as a base shadow. It's also great to use on its own.
ConsIt's quite fragile and tends to break if dropped. The price might seem high, but considering the amount you get, it's actually a product you can use down to the last bit.

It's a beautiful base tone. If you blend it from the eyelid line upwards, it creates a natural gradient that serves as an ideal base for orange or beige looks. I like to use Bobbi Brown's Mahogany as an accent color with this. If you're into makeup, you'll probably love this color combination. It can create a subtly smoky effect while also making a bold statement!
ConsEven after using it for months, I can hardly find any drawbacks.
TipUse it as a base tone. Be aware that if you apply only this product, it might make your eyes appear slightly puffy.

It's perfect for daily use. The subtle blend of brown and orange undertones creates a beautiful, natural look.
ConsThere's nothing particularly bad about it. The quantity is generous and it's absolutely fantastic!

A daily essential that I might actually hit pan on before it expires. Highly recommended for warm skin tones. Even using it alone for a gradient effect gives off such a sultry vibe. If Ginger is a pink-toned terracotta, Toast is an orange-toned terracotta! I use Toast on my eyelids and Ginger for the under-eye area. When I layer an orange-gold shimmer from Laura Mercier over Toast, it complements better than with Ginger. It's great for creating a base in many ways. The ingredients are better than expected, so I'll keep using it as my base. Love that the case is transparent without a mirror, allowing you to see inside.
Cons1. Powder fallout? Seems unavoidable with a brush, but it's fine with fingers or a sponge! The photo was taken right after opening the case, so it's surprising to see powder everywhere. It looks like it's been used and returned, which is confusing! 2. It would be great if they could reduce the size a bit.
TipWorks great for contouring too!
