I use this as a base to control oil. I can proudly say I've hit pan on this product!

There's nothing particularly negative to mention.
It's pricey, but you get a generous amount.
There's a slight excess of powder, but it's not a significant issue.

Purchase background:
I have extremely dry skin, so I use an intensive skincare routine with rich formulas. This often causes my eye makeup to smudge easily. As a result, I found myself touching up my makeup several times a day. Curious about how others maintain their makeup, I asked at a Bobbi Brown counter. The incredibly helpful staff member recommended applying this product before layering on color cosmetics! While this eyeshadow is colorless, the difference between using it and not using it is remarkable!

Pigmentation:
The eyeshadow helps control oil without causing dryness. By managing oiliness, it allows other eyeshadow colors applied on top to appear more vibrant!

Texture and performance:
First and foremost, it has the incredible advantage of preventing creasing, and it also offers long-lasting wear. When I used to start with regular base colors from palettes, my skincare would cause pilling, resulting in a messy application. This product, however, evens out my skin tone perfectly for a clean start.

It applies well when you pick up the product with a fluffy, soft eyeshadow brush and apply it with the right amount of product.

But the powder is too powdery... Talc is the first ingredient listed..... This seems to be the only downside.

It's quite difficult to find a base eyeshadow, but this is a natural color that's not too bright or too dark. However, since I have double eyelids, I think a slightly darker shade would have been even better. I bought this after watching Pony's makeup tutorial, where she said that applying a base eyeshadow helps the eyeshadow on top blend better and last longer, and it works well.

The only downsides are that there's a bit of powder fallout when applying with a brush, and the price..?

The color on the left in the photo is the actual product, and the one on the right is the swatch. It's not just a plain pale color, but it has a subtly calming effect on my skin. The yellowish tone gives it a more soothing and clean feel. 🤔 It's just the right skin tone - it brightens the darker areas and slightly tones down the lighter parts. It's a great base color, but I sometimes just wear this with some pearl and go about my day. Since it's a cream formula, it doesn't really need additional shading, and there's no uneven or patchy appearance.

The downside is that it has a powdery base color, so it's not very suitable for daily use.
It's mainly used when you want to pay a lot of attention to your eye makeup.

This is a base eyeshadow that is good for preparing the eyelids before applying eye makeup.

Applying the order of MAC Prep 24hr Eye Primer -> Bobby Brown Cream Shadow -> Regular Eyeshadow results in maximum longevity and color payoff.

The price is a bit disappointing, but the quantity is decent. There are no downsides.

This is the best product to use as a base for eyeshadows that I've tried. No matter what color you apply on top, it helps the color payoff well and keeps the skin tone looking bright. This is an item I will continue to purchase.

To liken the color payoff, it's like applying a foundation eyeshadow on your eyes.
It's a completely basic ivory eyeshadow without any shimmer, but when you apply just one layer, it makes your eyes look so bright, just as if you had put on foundation. It's so pretty and natural-looking. 
They say you can even use it like an eye primer! (It helps prevent creasing and makes the main eyeshadow color you apply on top stand out better)
