I think the best way to use this eyeshadow is for creating aegyo-sal shadows (and blending out eyeliner). The most transformative part of my makeup session in Garosu-gil was when the makeup artist used taupe to create aegyo-sal contouring. Now everyone thinks I naturally have those cute under-eye pouches, haha! I'm just so happy to have this product. It's great for adding depth and dimension with any base eyeshadow. You need to be careful with the amount you use. The color is more intense than you might expect.

I heard the color payoff was light, so I didn't expect much, but with just one touch, it created a proper shadow! The color was actually darker than I anticipated. If 'Soba' is a shade you can apply right after your base, 'Taupe' seems like a color to use after your initial contouring shadow. It creates quite a deep contour, but it applies with a clear (?) finish that doesn't feel overwhelming. Since I paid a premium for this, I can't help but feel like I'm perceiving it more favorably than I should... These days, even drugstore products are so good that if you already have a contouring shade you love, this might not be a must-have. For a lighter application, gently use a brush. For more intensity, apply with your fingertips. The layers build up transparently, allowing you to create various looks with just one product.

This is the ultimate matte brown eyeshadow that can do it all - base, accent, contour, brows, and even face contouring. It gives your eyes a mesmerizing depth! The color is perfect for softening the inner corner and eyeliner! The pigmentation is excellent, even with synthetic brushes, making it a go-to product in my routine. Since I often use it for the inner corner, I wish it had a slightly more ashy tone. It's a bit darker than camel brown, so it's quite intense. The color is absolutely stunning... It's breathtaking! When I'm in a rush, I can just quickly swipe this on with my finger, and it instantly gives my eyes a mesmerizing look. It doesn't cause any blemishes. The pigmentation is excellent and it lasts for a long time. The price is wickedly high... It's somewhat better if you can snag it at duty-free shops... But with the pandemic, that's become quite challenging now, hasn't it?
