It's a slightly darker brown that works well for those of us with deeper skin tones. It creates a natural, shadowy effect. My face tends to be on the redder side due to acne scars, but this shadow doesn't have any red undertones, giving a calming effect. The price might be a drawback. As a summer cool-toned college student, I bought this along with Antique Rose for subtle contouring. Now, I use it more for filling in my brows rather than on my eyelids. I have quite dark hair, so I outline my brows with the gray pencil and fill them in with blonde. It creates perfectly polished eyebrows! The price... oh, the price!!!!!!!!!! This shadow-like contour shade is a game-changer. On days when my eyes look extra puffy, I apply this to the outer crease, and it opens up not just my eyes, but my whole face! It's an elusive ash brown that's muted yet assertive. I use it for eyebrows, chin, and nose contouring too. Though it's travel-sized, it runs out quickly. But the generous amount actually puts my mind at ease. This is my holy grail product. I'm in love with you, Blonde! It's pricey, but I'll definitely repurchase. I love the generous amount you get. It's a great color to have as a staple in your collection! You can use just a little on your brush for a base, or apply more for a stunning point shadow effect. For those with monolids, be careful not to spread it over too wide an area, as it might look smudged. Versatile product - great for filling in eyebrows too! Excellent staying power and pigmentation. I use it for eye contouring, and the color is just right - not too intense, not too subtle! My friend gifted this for my birthday, and it's the perfect eyeshadow I've been looking for - a low-saturation brown without any grayish tones! Plus, the generous size means I can use it liberally without worrying about running out. While the size is impressive, the price point is definitely its biggest drawback.
