  Even though most #23 shades on the market looked too unnatural for my darker complexion, this one runs a bit deeper, giving me a natural brightening effect without triggering any blemishes!

  Cons

  While it matches my skin tone well, it has too much of a grayish cast. It's almost like a gray-beige shade. Also, the darkening effect is quite noticeable.

  It absorbs well and feels natural on the skin. I love that shade 23 isn't too light. Some might find it a bit darker than other 23 shades, but honestly, those tend to be quite bright. The coverage is decent, and it gives a naturally polished look. Unlike other base products that can make my skin itchy and cause a pimple or two, this one feels lightweight and doesn't irritate my skin.

  Pros

  I saw some opinions saying the color was too dark, but since my complexion is on the darker side, I actually liked it. It blends naturally with my face and neck without looking too light or floating, and it's moisturizing too. Most importantly, since it's from a blemish-care line, I was pleased that it didn't cause any additional breakouts for me, even with my sensitive, atopic, and extremely dry skin. I'm definitely considering repurchasing when I finish this one!

  However, the coverage is only moderate at best. If you have a fair complexion, it might look natural (to put it nicely), or barely noticeable (to be frank). Also, when closing the lid, there's no 'click' sound, so it's hard to tell if it's properly sealed. Looking at the side, it seems slightly open? The puff also absorbs too much of the BB cream, which is a bit disappointing.

  Tip

  I wouldn't call it a pro tip exactly, but for those who find it doesn't sit well on their skin, I think it's crucial to have a solid skincare routine as a base and allow products to fully absorb. This should help prevent the makeup from separating.
