It's amazing how these patches made my blemishes disappear! I'm really impressed and pleased with the results. The price is quite steep... With only 9 patches per pack, it's quite a burden for a student like me. Also, there's a slight tingling sensation when applied, but it's not painful. I accidentally touched the patch area... Be careful, as they have holes in them! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 22, 2019
1. Highly effective for large, inflamed acne blemishes 2. Appreciate the generous size of the product The price is a bit steep Really, the price is the only downside It's quite expensive, to be honest - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 15, 2018
Here's my personal method for managing blemishes! 1. For pus-filled blemishes, it's best to extract them and apply a regular hydrocolloid patch (like Nexcare, Easyderm, DuoDERM, etc.). 2. For small bumps or reddish blemishes, tea tree oil works wonders. Applying it for a few days helps calm down those irritated, reddish spots. (Sometimes I use thin blemish patches from Missha to prevent touching the area.) 3. For those hard, painful blemishes that occasionally appear on the chin or forehead (often during menstruation!), which can't be extracted and don't respond to tea tree oil, I usually visit a dermatologist for a steroid injection or prescription steroid ointment. Note: I don't necessarily think steroid injections or ointments are ideal for hard acne. I only go to the dermatologist when it's too painful and unmanageable. When microneedle patches became trendy, I was curious but didn't purchase them. I thought I was managing my blemishes well enough and didn't want to spend money experimenting. However, considering the side effects of steroids and the infrequency of hard acne, I decided to try the First Two microneedle patches from Olive Young during a sale! When applying, there's a slight tingling sensation, which confirms it's a microneedle patch. I applied it to a hard pimple and removed it after about half a day (they say not to leave it on too long to avoid damaging the skin's outer layer). The pain had significantly decreased! Seeing the effectiveness, I replaced it with a new one and used it a few times. While the hard pimple was still there, the pain had mostly subsided, and it felt somewhat softer. The performance isn't exceptional for the price. For hard acne, it seems wiser to visit a dermatologist... If you keep replacing the patches, it takes a lot of time, and the cost ends up being similar to a dermatologist visit. However, it's not completely ineffective, so I might buy and use it again! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinDec 3, 2017
There is a microneedle patch right in the middle of the patch! The sister who sold it to me told me to press it down for 5 seconds to help with the microneedles, so I pressed it down, slept for a night, and was amazed that the inflammation subsided in just one day. The redness also decreased a lot! I feel like I've found the acne patch of my dreams. I repurchased it! I should also try the sheet mask. The amount is a bit too little, so I'll have to buy a lot more next time ㅠㅠㅠ It seems like it would be great to do a sheet mask after removing the patch - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 17, 2017
I used this product to treat the inflammatory acne that would appear around my chin before an important event. I was satisfied to find that it was more effective than I had expected. The next day, the acne had subsided. The hygienic packaging was also nice. First of all, it's too expensive. I tolerated the price because it was effective, but when I applied it to the same area again, it didn't seem to work as well. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 2, 2017
When I apply it at the beginning, when pimples start to appear, it helps them subside. I tried applying it to the areas that seemed like they would become inflamed, and by the next morning, the pimple had turned white and easily came out. What I'm most afraid of are the pimples that don't mature or calm down at all...While it's not 100% perfect, I'm quite satisfied with using it. The price is a bit...😢 This is really just for spot treatment.. So I end up wondering if this is a serious enough pimple to apply it here. But the recovery speed is different between the areas I applied it to and the areas I didn't...😢 I apply it whenever I can. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 26, 2016
The product was effective regardless of whether the blemishes were inflammatory or milia. I felt that the calming effect was faster compared to other acne patches! Since the patch quantity is not generous, I couldn't attach them carelessly here and there. You should carefully select the application spot before attaching! After applying, you need to firmly press down on the central micro-pyramid part. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 13, 2016
Acne patches do provide some relief. Will the redness subside quickly?? On the day I discovered I had cystic acne, I would apply a patch after cleansing my face and go to sleep, and the next day I could see the acne had reduced. If I hadn't applied the patch, it likely would have grown larger and become more painful. Going forward, I plan to use the patches as part of my home skincare routine to manage the hormonal acne that flares up according to my menstrual cycle. However, for the overall scattered small bumps on my face, I'll need to try other skincare products. They're a bit larger than the tip of my thumb and cost 8,000 won, so I can't just use them indiscriminately. The small bumps are spread across my entire face, so I'll need to care for them with different products. And I applied them to my chin acne, but due to the chin structure, they kept falling off, so I had to use medical tape to secure them. The ones on my temples stayed on very well, though. It's said that applying the patches after the cystic acne has fully developed and been popped is most effective. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 18, 2016
Due to the chin bump, I bought it and used it for the first time yesterday. First of all, the swollen pimple has subsided, and the redness has also diminished significantly. I have been getting a lot of steroid injections, but this seems much better. It seems to be effective for all types of acne, such as milia, cystic acne, and more. The price 😢 It was sad to have to choose where to apply it because it was so precious. For suppurative acne, it seems to be more effective to apply it after squeezing. And really pressing down firmly for 10 seconds is the most important thing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 1, 2016
I used it on my chin and forehead acne, and the next day, the redness and acne were gone, which was great. The delivery was very fast, and I liked that there was a user manual included. The price is a bit expensive 😢 It would be better if it was a little cheaper, excluding the clear patches. The needle part didn't have front and back labels, which made it inconvenient to use.
