I like how they've incorporated an idea we've all considered at some point. And when you apply it, there's this sensation of micro-needles penetrating the skin? It's quite satisfying. However, I'm not really sure if it actually helps reduce blemishes. Plus, for someone like me who gets frequent breakouts, I'm not sure how many I'd need to buy. This seems more suitable for those who only get occasional, larger blemishes. Still, I can't help but want to buy more. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 19, 2020
I don't have high expectations for just a patch, but I use it as a preventive measure to avoid touching the blemishes with my hands, which helps prevent bacterial spread and further breakouts. I switched to this after using Acropass because it was expensive, but I don't feel the microneedle sensation. I was hoping for that slight tingling feeling that makes you think it's working, but it feels like a regular patch. I'm not sure if it's good that it doesn't sting, but personally, I prefer the definite prickling sensation of microneedles. So I'm a bit disappointed, as I don't feel like the beneficial ingredients are penetrating deeply. - gi******Oily SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJan 10, 2020
It's amazing how these patches made my blemishes disappear! I'm really impressed and pleased with the results. The price is quite steep... With only 9 patches per pack, it's quite a burden for a student like me. Also, there's a slight tingling sensation when applied, but it's not painful. I accidentally touched the patch area... Be careful, as they have holes in them! - yo*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinJul 1, 2019
I used to love a product from another brand, but it was quite pricey. This one is much more affordable. The packaging is also well-sealed, which gives me peace of mind. The other brand's product worked wonders, but this one doesn't seem to do much. I probably won't be repurchasing it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 22, 2019
1. Highly effective for large, inflamed acne blemishes 2. Appreciate the generous size of the product The price is a bit steep Really, the price is the only downside It's quite expensive, to be honest - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 5, 2018
I used up a whole bottle and felt like my blemishes improved a bit... I guess that's better than doing nothing at all, right? I bought this because I often get non-inflamed blemishes, but it didn't have much effect. Maybe it's because you have to remove it within 12 hours... I won't be repurchasing. - ae********Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 16, 2018
The patch has these little bumps that help bring deep, unpoppable blemishes to a head when you stick it on. It's like it helps ripen them so they can be extracted. Given the price, which isn't exactly cheap, I had high hopes for its effectiveness. Unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to my expectations, which was disappointing. If you're just looking for a patch to protect blemishes from external factors, there are many cheaper and better options out there. - 76****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 16, 2018
Here's my personal method for managing blemishes! 1. For pus-filled blemishes, it's best to extract them and apply a regular hydrocolloid patch (like Nexcare, Easyderm, DuoDERM, etc.). 2. For small bumps or reddish blemishes, tea tree oil works wonders. Applying it for a few days helps calm down those irritated, reddish spots. (Sometimes I use thin blemish patches from Missha to prevent touching the area.) 3. For those hard, painful blemishes that occasionally appear on the chin or forehead (often during menstruation!), which can't be extracted and don't respond to tea tree oil, I usually visit a dermatologist for a steroid injection or prescription steroid ointment. Note: I don't necessarily think steroid injections or ointments are ideal for hard acne. I only go to the dermatologist when it's too painful and unmanageable. When microneedle patches became trendy, I was curious but didn't purchase them. I thought I was managing my blemishes well enough and didn't want to spend money experimenting. However, considering the side effects of steroids and the infrequency of hard acne, I decided to try the First Two microneedle patches from Olive Young during a sale! When applying, there's a slight tingling sensation, which confirms it's a microneedle patch. I applied it to a hard pimple and removed it after about half a day (they say not to leave it on too long to avoid damaging the skin's outer layer). The pain had significantly decreased! Seeing the effectiveness, I replaced it with a new one and used it a few times. While the hard pimple was still there, the pain had mostly subsided, and it felt somewhat softer. The performance isn't exceptional for the price. For hard acne, it seems wiser to visit a dermatologist... If you keep replacing the patches, it takes a lot of time, and the cost ends up being similar to a dermatologist visit. However, it's not completely ineffective, so I might buy and use it again! - vk*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 26, 2018
It really works! That's why I bought it again after trying it for the first time. The price is quite steep... But what can you do? I console myself with the ongoing free gift events and keep buying and using it. These are before and after photos. You can see that the blemishes next to the red spot that were there before have disappeared after applying and sleeping with it. It might look like I still have it on due to the marks, but this is actually after I've removed it! Since it has micro-needles, you need to press it firmly onto your skin after application to allow it to penetrate. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 13, 2018
For acne patches, the packaging is quite well done. 1. Used up an entire container with absolutely no effect. 2. Overpriced for acne patches. 3. The microneedles cause a slight stinging sensation when applied. 4. Apart from the double packaging, I can't think of any advantages. It's so bad that even I, who rarely leaves reviews, felt compelled to write this. The best tip seems to be not buying it at all...
