It's a fantastic base that's so easy to use! Apply it before foundation for amazing results! The gold flakes just don't dissolve at all... I can't walk around with gold particles stuck to my face. Sadly, I rarely use it now. - gy*******Dry SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinMay 4, 2021
When applied before foundation, it gives a firm, glowing finish. It's nicely moisturizing, making it easy to apply smoothly. The gold-like particles inside don't dissolve well... It feels like there's a messy residue left behind. I'm not inclined to reach for it. - da*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedApr 17, 2021
It's worth its weight in gold! When applied before makeup, it leaves your skin hydrated and makes foundation adhere better, improving longevity. The texture feels great when applying. Occasionally, tiny gold flakes stick to the face. Other than that, everything else is great. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedAug 21, 2020
I'm currently on my third bottle of this product. While I don't use it during summer, it's an absolute essential for me throughout spring, fall, and winter when my skin gets really dry. Since it's a gold collagen product, there are gold particles inside. If you don't rub it in thoroughly, they don't disappear completely. - an*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinNov 14, 2019
I bought this because I love that dewy look. When I tested it, I really liked how it made my skin feel moisturized and firm! When I first tested it, my skin looked hydrated and had that Inner Glow, so I bought it to use as a base. But that effect seems to have been short-lived. After a while, the glow fades and it feels less hydrating. If you just apply it normally, the gold flakes don't dissolve well and remain visible. But if you warm your hands and press the product into your skin, the gold flakes seem to melt and absorb better! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedAug 25, 2019
It seems to create a perfect base for makeup application. The gold flecks give it a luxurious feel! It's quite pricey for a drugstore brand unless it's on sale, and it runs out quickly. - na*****Combination SkinRecommendedJun 21, 2019
I absolutely love this product! I have combination skin with particularly dry cheeks, and I really dislike that tight, dehydrated feeling. When I apply this before my foundation or sunscreen, my skin feels less parched. The gold flakes, or whatever those gold foil pieces are, are larger than expected and can be a bit overwhelming. I apply a generous amount and remove the larger gold flakes with a cotton swab. I wait about 5-10 minutes after application before putting on my foundation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJun 5, 2019
The texture isn't too thin, it has a gel-like feel. When applied, it gives a cooling sensation and is relatively hydrating. It also gives your face a bit of a glow. It works well on its own or mixed with foundation. The scent reminds me a bit of my mom's cosmetics, but it's not overly bothersome so I wouldn't call it a major drawback. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it, but there's also nothing that really stands out. That's why I don't plan to repurchase it at the moment. However, compared to more expensive brands, I think it's a good value for the price. If you find pricier options too costly, this might be worth trying. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 26, 2019
This makeup base performs its duties diligently and doesn't cause any skin irritation whatsoever. After application, there's no sticky feeling, and your makeup stays fresh all day long. When you apply it, your face becomes delightfully moisturized, which is such a mood booster! The scent is hard to describe, but it's incredibly mild, so it won't bother you at all! Come to think of it, Guerlain has a similar product... the L'Or Radiance Base. Those who know, know it's in a league of its own when it comes to price. Anyway, this product holds its own against Guerlain's L'Or Radiance Base! You could say it's like a budget-friendly version of the Guerlain L'Or Radiance Base? In any case, it's a product you won't regret buying. I'm already on my third purchase! First off, it's quite runny, so you need to apply it quickly to avoid it dripping down your face. Also, there's a slight feeling of gold-like particles sticking to your face without being absorbed. Neither of these drawbacks is severe, just very minor. The base itself is fine if you apply it quickly, and the gold particles break down and absorb if you gently massage them in, so they're hardly worth mentioning as cons! One pump, or at most one and a half pumps, is enough. Apply a thin layer according to the area you're covering! Applying it too thick is pointless as it will just run off. As they say, too much of a good thing can be bad. Even with great products, using too much can be worse than not using them at all! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 15, 2019
It applies smoothly as a base, with just the right amount of hydration (zero oiliness) The gold flakes don't dissolve well. It absorbs quickly, so it feels odd to keep rubbing it in, but you have to because of the gold particles
