To my surprise... it's the best cleansing oil I've ever used! Talk about a lucky find! I've tried so many oils including Shu Uemura, Innisfree, DHC, Shiseido, and others, but MAC is the first cleansing oil where I can feel hard sebum coming out while massaging. It really works hard!
ConsThere are many comments about the scent, but I've never thought it smelled strange... It seems unscented to me, though my nose might not be the best judge.
TipI use a generous amount, pumping 2 to 3 times each use. I have oily skin, and since using this, I've noticed a significant reduction in hardened sebum and blackheads.

I ran out of everything, so I went to a MAC store and bought this. It's absolutely amazing! I can't believe I didn't discover it sooner. When cleansing, I massage it in well, rinse with water, then follow up with a cleansing foam. It's incredible how thoroughly it removes everything. After washing, my skin feels refreshed without any tightness.
ConsLike all luxury cosmetics, the price is steep. However, given the product's effectiveness, it's worth every penny.

However, this product has a gentle oil formulation. I started using it after hearing it contains 99% tocopherol, and I'm impressed with how smoothly it removes makeup. I've already gone through more than 4 bottles! Despite my oily skin, this oil actually helps clear out the sebum from my pores. Being a water-soluble oil, it emulsifies well. I use it as a second cleanser after my lip and eye makeup remover (though it's effective enough to use on its own). While it can feel a bit slippery if you don't follow with a third cleanse, it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. If you dislike the slippery feeling, you can always follow up with another cleanser. I do this when my blemishes are acting up. There's no residue left even when I use a toner pad right after. It hasn't caused any breakouts, so I'll keep using it. A bottle lasts longer than I expected!
ConsI just noticed there are some ingredients to be cautious about for sensitive skin. However, I didn't experience any adverse reactions.
TipCompared to similar oil-based products from Shu Uemura or Bobbi Brown, this one isn't as thick. You don't need to mix it with water for massage as it's already water-soluble. It's plenty soft on its own, though I've seen some people mix it occasionally.
