The shade matched well with my skin tone, which is between 21 and 22. The texture, as you can see in the photo, flows easily when tilted after one pump. However, when applied to the face, it goes on smoothly and finishes with a slightly powdery feel. The coverage isn't the highest, but it's above average. Using too much can make it look thick and obvious, so I found it best to apply a small amount all over the face and then add an extra layer where more coverage is needed. What I love most about NARS is that it looks best when applied with fingers, which is great for someone like me who's not skilled with makeup tools! It's a bit challenging to achieve full coverage with this product alone (I have blemish-prone skin). You definitely need to use a concealer. When pumped out, it looks like it would be super hydrating due to the oil/water/essence mix, but as someone with extremely dry skin, I found it too drying if my skincare prep wasn't thorough enough. On the other hand, if I applied heavy skincare underneath, the foundation tended to slip and make my skin look messy. I highly recommend mixing this with NARS Sheer Glow Foundation - they work perfectly together. While it might be a burden to buy two products, the combination is truly worth it! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 29, 2016
The coverage and adherence are quite good. It is also a product that really feels the best tool of Nars' hands. It looks the best when applied with your hands. You can cover the entire face with a small amount, so once you buy it, it lasts much longer than other foundations or cushion products. I've been using it for over 6 months and I haven't even used half of it yet. After application, it finishes with a soft, powdery feel. And while all products tend to break down over time, this one breaks down beautifully. When combined with the oil on your face, the luminous glow is quite pretty. It's not a product that feels like a waste of money. Nars seems to have better ingredients than I thought. I didn't have any breakouts or issues from using this. However, it's not recommended for dry skin types. It feels almost devoid of moisture, and the matte finish right after application can make it look cakey or emphasize dry patches. And while the overall coverage is decent, it doesn't hide textural imperfections very well. Like all department store products, you can get it much cheaper at duty-free shops. I think I purchased it for the late 30,000 won range. And for the Nars foundation, applying it with your hands is the most beautiful. Using tools can actually make it apply too thickly. Since it's a product that can cover the face with a small amount, just focus on lightly spreading a small amount tapped onto your fingers across the face, and you can apply it beautifully.
