I can't survive summer without this!! Though I have dry skin, I love a matte finish, so I always go for matte products. But I've never seen anything this good! Here are the top advantages: 1. Great coverage - no need for concealer! 2. Stays put all day, even when you sweat in summer! 3. When it does fade, it blends with your skin, looking like natural, beautiful skin! I've gotten so many compliments on how good my skin looks with this foundation! The downside is it's extremely matte, so you need to apply it quickly! It's too drying to use in winter, unfortunately. Occasionally, I mix in a drop or two of oil and apply multiple thin layers for a beautiful complexion! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 10, 2019
It's super smooth and thin when applied. It seems to have fine particles that absorb well into the skin. And it doesn't break down disgustingly either. Since I'm not extremely dry-skinned, there was no excessive dryness either. The coverage is about average. If you want a clean complexion, you'll need to use a concealer as well. You have to choose the color carefully. Next time, I should use Dior or Montblanc instead. And it's a bit...expensive... Buying this foundation is a total lifesaver...it's amazing! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 21, 2019
No crumbling, good lasting power, expressed naturally in ivory color while looking bright and vibrant Dryness, expensive price... Need to apply a solid base to be less dry - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 6, 2019
The color matched well between skin tones 21 and 22. As shown in the photo, after one pump, the product flows down when tilting the hand, but when applied to the face, it goes on smoothly and finishes with a slightly powdery feel. The coverage is not the best, but around medium-high. Using too much can make the makeup look cakey, so it's best to apply a small amount all over the face and add extra coverage only where needed. *The best thing about NARS for a makeup novice like me is that it looks the prettiest when applied with the hands.^^ The coverage alone may not be enough to fully conceal blemishes. (I have a lot of spots on my skin) A concealer is a must, and when pumping the product, an oily/watery/essence-like substance comes out along with it, making it seem very hydrating. But for my extremely dry skin, it felt a bit lacking in the base if I didn't have a very robust skincare routine. Applying it on top of a well-prepped base can sometimes make the skin look a bit uneven and messy. Mixing the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation with this one works perfectly. There's the burden of having to buy two products, but I highly recommend it.^ - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 3, 2019
The coverage is quite high, and the color is slightly brighter than 21 and was just perfect for my reddish complexion. Later on, the pores became very prominent when it broke down. It easily wore off during the summer. It was a foundation with a yellowish tone, so I always mixed it with a slightly reddish-toned foundation. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 5, 2018
Among the foundations I've tried, this was the best. It was the most expensive, but... I have redness and a lot of red scars, so I chose a yellow-based shade. I don't think there's a shade like this among the foundations available in the market. I love it - it's radiant, provides great coverage, and doesn't cake even when layered. When my skin condition is poor, it emphasizes flakiness. Since I'm naturally quite dry, it seems fine if I just replenish moisture the night before. You must shake it well before use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 14, 2018
It has good coverage and lasting power. It applies thinly and can be used all over the face with just a drop. It's too matte and accentuates flaky skin. It sets too quickly, so you have to apply it quickly. If you apply even a little too much, it cakes up. The price is shocking. Make sure to moisturize as much as possible, and apply it as quickly as you can! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 11, 2018
My skin looks so beautiful right after application, and the color matches me perfectly~ The ingredients are also great, so I didn't get any acne! But as time passes and the makeup starts to break down, it gets caked into my pores terribly. Unless I blot, the pore caking makes any touch-ups useless. Everything else is great, but the pore caking when it breaks down is the worst. I don't want to keep using it, so I'm looking for a different foundation. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 3, 2017
The color is beautiful, the coverage is good, it's really lightweight, the adherence is good, and it makes the skin look nice. Those are all about when it's applied by hand, so it's a bit inconvenient. If you apply it when your skin condition is not good, it can get a bit cakey, but it settles down after a while. - je*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 14, 2017
I have a yellowish-green complexion, so it was difficult to find a foundation that matched my neck. But when I mixed a small amount of the olive-toned concealer with it, it was just perfect. I really liked the bright ivory yellow color first. It applies very thinly and has good adhesion. I have poor skin texture, large pores, and a lot of unevenness, so I always use a primer before applying. Otherwise, the adhesive and matte foundation would accentuate the unevenness and pores. It's matte, but over time it mixes in with the oil just right. It doesn't break down messily, which I liked. By the way, I prefer to make my base a bit sticky and then apply this matte foundation. The price is <<<<<<<<< 70,000 won, which is too expensive. Even when buying online, I couldn't find the shade at a cheaper price. At best, it's in the 60,000 won range...It's well-made, but realistically, it's a 40,000-50,000 won product, not worth spending 70,000 won on. There are many easier and prettier bases to use than this. I bought it because of the ivory color and the fact that it doesn't cause breakouts, but for those with similar concerns, I'd recommend considering other options. From here on is just my personal opinion, but the separate pump sales tactic is really funny ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Do they really want to rip us off like that? The lid doesn't even close properly, and they don't let us take it around ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ It's smaller than expected, so carrying it around is safer than decanting, which is why I take it with me when traveling, but ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I don't buy department store foundations that sell the pump separately because I don't like it. Nars also just charges a brand name premium, and while the colors are really pretty, the actual performance isn't that much better. They just release new colors and keep the same formula but raise the price ㅠ It's nice that people buy it because it's pretty, but I have a lot of complaints. Basically, you have to use your hands and blend it really quickly ㅠ If it's difficult, try using a hydro sponge dampened with water. Not a gross puff, but the sponge that comes in the Clio cap or the Lotte sponge.
