The coverage is excellent and it doesn't cause any blemishes, which is fantastic. When it comes to foundation, Dior is truly unbeatable - both in terms of price and quality. There wasn't really anything to complain about. It's been renewed and now comes in two versions - matte and glow. I think the glow version is better. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedOct 22, 2019
I have combination skin and my makeup tends to separate easily. I bought shade 1N. Although I purchased it directly from overseas and it's on the pricier side, I decided to buy it without trying a sample first. I was a bit hesitant, but it adheres to the skin better than I expected and the coverage is decent, so I ended up buying two more! I switched from Clinique and Espoir Taping Cushion because they were too yellow, and I think I've found my new go-to. If you're cool-toned and pale like me, you'll probably be even more satisfied. Like with all cosmetics, those with dry skin might experience some pilling (especially when dead skin cells build up). Also, the price point might be a bit high for everyday use. Those would be the main drawbacks, if I had to name any. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinOct 13, 2019
The coverage is excellent. I have quite dark freckles on my face, and even when I apply concealer and foundation, they still show through slightly. But this product covers them completely. My mom tried it once and said the coverage was really impressive. It can be a bit drying for winter use, so you need to apply a good base moisturizer before using it. Also, because the coverage is so good, if you don't control the amount well, it can go on quite thick. - bs*****Dry SkinRecommendedOct 11, 2019
It looks so natural on my skin, like a second skin, and the most important thing is how moisturizing it feels! It applies smoothly even without a beauty blender! While it's hydrating, the staying power is unfortunately lacking. It darkens too quickly, and the makeup breaks down as if the moisture is evaporating, which is disappointing. You need to be thorough with your base skincare routine, especially around the nose and mouth! Using a slightly more fluid formula might help it last a bit longer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 21, 2019
I've been using this product for 7 years now. I have combination dehydrated skin, so when I use a foundation that doesn't suit me, it settles into my pores and makes my skin look like volcanic rock when it breaks down. This one, however, fills in the pores on my cheeks seamlessly without a primer, making my skin look great and smooth. The finish is matte, so even as oil builds up over time, it doesn't get too shiny. After trying many others, I keep coming back to repurchase this item. Just a heads up, this product has been reformulated. I'm still debating whether to switch to the new version. If you're not a fan of yellow-based tones, I wouldn't recommend this. You need to do a thorough job with your hydration routine in your skincare base. If you want to apply it with a bit more moisture, try using a sponge lightly dampened with face mist. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 28, 2019
When you first apply it, you feel a nice cooling effect. It adheres well to the skin, making it easy to use even for makeup beginners! The way it fades is actually quite pretty. It's not really suitable for summer (especially for oily skin). When you sweat, it can get a bit cakey. If you're using it in summer, make sure to use plenty of powder! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 9, 2019
Flawless coverage even for blemish-prone skin, giving a very clean finish The downside is that as time passes, it settles into pores as it breaks down Applying with your hands works best, but if not possible, use a sponge - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 30, 2019
I bought this on an employee's recommendation. It doesn't look cakey and adheres well to the skin. The price, of course. It's too expensive. If only the price would come down, it would be perfect. I bought one of these and keep pumping it into my cushion compact. It lasts a long time this way! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 28, 2019
I've tried many department store foundations, but nothing compares to this product! First off, I have skin with visible pores, acne scars, and small bumps, and I'm shade 22. When I applied this product, I thought it felt so lightweight that it might not provide much coverage. But I was amazed to see it covered about 90% of my pores and blemishes! It goes on so smoothly, making my skin look absolutely beautiful. It's different from other products - they advertised great longevity, which I was skeptical about, but I applied it at 11 AM and worked until 8 PM without any touch-ups. Incredibly, there was no settling into pores or fine lines, and no darkening! I was so impressed! While it did fade slightly around the edges of my face, the staying power is still remarkable. I have combination dehydrated skin, but this didn't feel drying at all. Oil does come through on my T-zone and cheeks, but less compared to other products. I really felt great using this! ✔️ Lives up to its longevity claims - stays put without settling into pores, fine lines, or darkening ✔️ Not too matte or glowy, making it suitable for year-round use ✔️ Applies smoothly for a beautiful skin finish (even with pores and blemishes, it makes skin look pretty) ✔️ Looks beautiful even when applied with just a sponge, no need for expert application or brushes The price is a bit high... Those who use shade 21 might find it looks more natural - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJul 19, 2019
First off, the texture is incredibly smooth, so it absorbs beautifully. As someone with dry skin, I often struggle with foundations that make my makeup flake off, but since using this Dior foundation, I've never experienced that issue. Occasionally, it does break down a bit, which is disappointing. To be honest, there aren't many downsides, but if I had to mention one, it would be the rather steep price. I've been stocking up during duty-free opportunities. I've found that applying it with a beauty sponge works really well.
