While the coverage isn't exceptionally high, using a thick concealer first (I recommend the Catrice concealer - liquid ones don't cover as well) and then applying this foundation creates a layered effect without feeling heavy. Even if you apply it thickly, it doesn't feel as heavy as other foundations. The color isn't overly pink, allowing for a natural application. The matte finish is lovely - perfect for those who dislike sticky, transferable makeup. This foundation looks absolutely stunning on fair-skinned individuals. Since I started using it, I've been getting compliments on how well it matches my skin tone!
ConsThe ingredients aren't particularly skin-friendly, which is a concern. While I continue using it for its beautiful skin finish, those with sensitive skin should be cautious. The coverage isn't great, so I use concealer daily - a bit frustrating. The initial pink-beige tone seems to fade slightly, but it doesn't require much touch-up. It can be very drying if you don't prep your skin well. When I use mineral sunscreen underneath, it becomes extremely dry.
TipAlways use concealer before applying this foundation! The Catrice solid concealer provides good coverage, but it may fade slightly after foundation application, requiring an extra layer. The Face Shop Dual concealer's solid part is too dry and can look patchy with this foundation, while the liquid part is too thin for proper coverage. The Cle de Peau concealer is too dark compared to the foundation, necessitating more foundation application. This foundation pairs exceptionally well with Innisfree Perfect Essence Sun Cream - it's neither too dry nor sticky when used together.

After completing the concealer stage, it creates a somewhat luxurious skin finish.
ConsThe coverage isn't as good as expected. As time passes, skin tone becomes yellowish and darker. Sometimes when applying powder later, it can emphasize dead skin cells or cause pilling, but other times it doesn't - I'm not sure why, it's hit or miss? The ingredients aren't particularly great. For this quality at this price point, I'd rather buy foundation from Espoir, Banila Co, or Etude House. Occasionally, when excess oil surfaces, blemishes can appear.
TipSince it sets quickly when applying, dot it on your face, spray with a makeup fixer, then pat with an air puff for a more hydrated look and better lasting power. Due to the lacking coverage, using a pot concealer before and after foundation can elevate the skin finish. It's a foundation with both pros and cons, making it somewhat ambiguous.
