It's so natural-looking! I'm not sure if I should call this a pro or a con, but to put it positively, it brightens your skin to look like your own. Since I'm used to foundation and cushions, I wondered if I even applied it while putting it on. It's that unnoticeable, but when I went out later, I could definitely see my complexion had evened out. It absolutely doesn't make you pale, just evens your skin tone. It's quite rich, so I haven't tried it in summer yet, but I think it might be too much. After about 3-4 hours, areas like around the mouth start to look a bit whitish. Oh, and of course, there's absolutely NO coverage. None whatsoever. If you have good skin, this could work as a daily brightening moisturizer! It's better as a base than on its own. Since it's a bit rich, hair can stick to it, but if you pat some powder or compact around the edges of your face, it's fine!

I initially bought this for oil and moisture balance, sun protection, and natural brightening, while using other cushions or BB creams for coverage. It fulfilled all my needs and suited my super sensitive skin well! It's absolutely fantastic for balancing oil and moisture in winter! When my face feels hot in winter, applying this cool product makes my skin feel soft and regulates my facial temperature nicely! The cushion is pretty too, and using it always improves my mood. When I first tried to use it in summer, it felt too oily on my face. I couldn't even give it away and wasn't sure what to do with it. But when it got dry towards the end of fall, I tried it again and have been using it daily all winter! Not recommended for summer though! It's a bit too rich then! If anyone's cushion sponge has deteriorated, contact Botanic Farm directly for an exchange! I highly recommend this for those wanting a natural and dewy skin look! To be honest, when I first applied it, I was surprised because it didn't seem like I had put anything on. But as time passed, I noticed my skin getting brighter! However, the coverage is a bit light, so it's not enough on its own for full-face makeup or important days. It's a product you can use lightly for everyday wear. It's extremely useful when you want to look like you're not wearing any makeup at all! The only drawback is the coverage! I have atopic dermatitis, acne, and dry skin, but I used this without any blemishes. It adheres lightly and feels hydrating, which is great, but the coverage is quite weak... If you pat this all over your skin before applying foundation or BB cream, it works better than most makeup bases. Also, when you want a natural makeup look, you can just use concealer on your under-eye area and T-zone, then apply this all over for a great effect! I often hear that I look unwell, so I decided to give this a try. My friends' reactions have been really positive! It does a great job of neutralizing yellow undertones. The amount you get is surprisingly generous. And I absolutely love the packaging design! The staying power isn't that great... That's the only downside, but otherwise it's pretty decent.

The design is absolutely my style! The dots disappear quickly... After applying a few times, they're no longer visible. I used it for just two days and blemishes appeared right away. While they only offer Purple and Apple shades, I used Pink. It doesn't seem to float on the skin like other cushions, and it's gentle, which I like. You can adjust it to suit your complexion, and the polka dot pattern makes it even prettier. It could even work well as a makeup base substitute. It's incredibly hydrating and gives an instant cooling sensation when applied, resulting in a bright and radiant skin appearance. The puff is great - a few gentle pats and it adheres beautifully to the skin. The customer service representative was exceptionally kind. Despite my super sensitive skin, it didn't cause many blemishes. First off, there were many defective products (I bought two and both had issues). The product disappears quickly with just one application. It's easy to apply. I think it would be great for those with dry skin. You can use it discreetly. I use it as a self-comfort when I'm too lazy to apply anything before stepping out, but feel uneasy about not using anything at all. After application, it feels sticky, so you need to wipe it off with a tissue or oil blotting paper. It's not good for my combination skin. Especially in summer when I sweat a lot, I can't use it. I'm not sure about its tone-evening effect. Rather than brightening, it feels greasy, like I've applied too much nourishing cream that won't absorb. I was tempted by the two refills when I bought it, but now I wonder when I'll ever use it all up.
