The multi-mineral formula helps build elasticity deep within the skin. For those without atopic or sensitive skin, it's remarkably effective in treating milia and crepey skin. As someone with atopic, sensitive skin, I experienced redness, tingling, and worsening dermatitis. Remember, purging is actually an adverse reaction for the skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinDec 31, 2022
It's a low-moisture product. I absolutely cannot recommend this to those with sensitive skin or psoriasis. It doesn't help with deep dryness at all. They mentioned that there might be a purging phase after using the product, but I had to stop using it because I've been getting severe milia and blemishes for months. There's itching after application. A doctor told me that cosmetics don't actually have a purging phase. I absolutely, absolutely do not recommend this to those with super sensitive skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 12, 2022
I first encountered Dr. Deep because of my son's molluscum contagiosum. The hospital said they'd have to treat it painfully, so I bought this as a last resort before going to the doctor. For the first few days of application, it seemed to get worse, with the affected areas becoming redder. But as I continued applying it, one day the blemishes ripened and burst. After that, the wounds healed and the skin became clean. It was amazing! Now, even though the warts are gone, I always use Dr. Deep whenever they reappear during childhood. It seems the effectiveness isn't the same for everyone. When my niece developed molluscum contagiosum, I recommended this product. However, for her, as the affected areas reddened and ripened, it caused itching. Scratching made it spread more, so they had to stop using it. It's best to apply it whenever you remember. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 8, 2021
If there was a zero-star rating option, I'd give it zero. Poor ingredients and high price. April 8th: Before changing dermatologists April 22nd: After changing dermatologists, skin was improving May 4th: Applied this emulsion, and within a day or two, redness and blemishes returned I always check ingredients on Hwahae before buying anything for my baby. Even though my baby's molluscum wasn't improving despite dermatologist visits, I bought this expensive product after seeing positive reviews, despite its terrible ingredients on Hwahae. After changing dermatologists, my skin was getting better, but shortly after using this, it became red and spread even more. Who are these people recommending this? Looking at the ingredients, it's full of irritants and potential allergens. I don't understand what's supposed to be good about it. It's really frustrating. From now on, I'll definitely avoid products with poor ingredients on Hwahae. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 5, 2021
Despite containing oil, it doesn't feel heavy at all. I love it! When I apply it to blemishes or pimples, by the next day they come to a head and fall off. It has a slightly oily feel, and I noticed some small bumps appearing in areas like under my eyes. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 12, 2021
The customer service representative called and kindly explained how to use the product. I followed their instructions to the letter... I tried this product with high hopes after reading reviews that it was good for milia. However, after using it for a week, my skin condition actually worsened, with more blemishes appearing than before. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 24, 2020
It feels moisturizing and gentle. The hydration is decent. I bought this based on reviews for my milia-like bumps, but it actually made them more pronounced and the area became red. I'm not sure if this is purging, but I'm torn between stopping use or continuing.
