While it's a bit inconvenient to shake before use, it has no white cast or dryness, and doesn't cause breakouts. I've been using it for several bottles now. Using it before makeup provides a natural tone-correcting effect as well. I double cleanse even on days I only wear this sunscreen.
Cons▪ Oiliness: The sunscreen itself is quite oily. The shiny finish may be burdensome for oily skin types, especially in the summer. ▪ Volume: The price is a bit high compared to the volume.
Tip▪ It's sometimes sold as a 1+1 deal at department store online malls, so be sure to check and get it at a better price :)

ConsIt has a sticky texture, and oily skin types tend to get very shiny. It also contains 4 potentially irritating ingredients.
TipUsing a cushion or foundation can help control the stickiness to some extent.

Among the sunscreens I've tried, this seems to be the least drying...? Clinique really makes great sunscreens. It's easy to apply the right amount since it's not drying (though it does become a bit drier over time as it's a mineral sunscreen). - Smooth application. The formula is just like a sun milk, so it glides on the face smoothly. There's none of the thick, sticky feeling typical of mineral sunscreens. - No eye irritation. Eye irritation is the most important factor when choosing a sunscreen, and while organic sunscreens are a no-go, some mineral sunscreens can still cause irritation. But this one doesn't. Overall: People who use this product tend to buy multiple bottles, and there's a reason for that. It manages to overcome the dryness and white cast that are characteristic of mineral sunscreens. I don't use it often because I picked the wrong shade, but once I finish my current bottle, I'll repurchase in the right shade.
Cons- It's a bit oily, so it can look a bit messy when applied. For someone like me who only wears sunscreen, a powdery, clean finish is preferable, but this isn't quite that. The formula would probably suit those who plan to layer makeup on top. The oiliness also makes my hair stick to my face a lot. - No pore coverage. It's funny to expect pore coverage from a sunscreen, but many mineral sunscreens have a thick, pore-filling texture. This one just sits on top of the skin without filling in the pores. - Shade... The Sheer Tint shades are too dark. I have a skin tone around 21, but the Sheer Tint shades end up making my skin look a bit dull. ⭐️Those with brighter skin tones should go for the Sheer shades!⭐️ However, for someone with a skin tone around 23, the Sheer Tint shade would likely look very natural. If the color had been prettier, I probably would have continued using it. But the off shade cost it one star, and the oily, pore-sitting texture cost it another star.

I've been using Clinique skincare for over 2 years, and it's been good for me since natural oil ingredients don't agree with my skin. Among the reviews, some said the product feels heavy or watery, and that when applied, the face becomes oily and feels like it has a film over it. So I cleansed my skin with a cleansing water and applied it right away. The texture is similar to the Clarins sunscreen I used before. The ingredients are better than Clarins, which I believe is a chemical sunscreen, while this one is a mineral sunscreen, so I feel more assured. Those who have used the Clarins sunscreen or Shiseido Anessa sunscreen will find the feel similar. However, it's less oily when applied, and since it's a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't sink into the skin, so it has a more lightweight feel. The reviews mentioned that it washes off easily in water, so it may not be suitable for water activities. But since my outdoor activities are just walking the dog, it worked fine for me. And since I use cleansing water instead of oil cleansers, the easy washability is actually preferable for me. I've been using it throughout this summer and into the fall, and fortunately, I haven't experienced any skin issues. In fact, the feel has improved as we've moved into the fall season. Lately, I've been applying it right after my Etude House Soonjung Gel. The sunscreen itself has enough moisture, so I don't need to apply a separate lotion or moisturizer.
ConsSince my skin is quite sensitive, I'm not the type to wear a lot of makeup. Maybe 3-4 times a month, I'll just apply foundation on top of sunscreen or dust on some powder over the sunscreen. With this sunscreen having some oiliness and a slightly greasy feel, I think it would be burdensome for oily skin types to layer a lot of makeup on top of it. The sunscreen itself already has a somewhat heavy, emollient texture, so adding foundation or powder on top might feel too much for my sensitive, oily skin.
TipWhen I buy sunscreen, I always prefer to get one with a tinted version. Without any color, it's hard for me to tell if the cleansing was effective. I can check if it's been properly removed by seeing any residue come off. So this time, instead of the clear version, I opted for the tinted one. The tinted formula allows me to visually confirm that the sunscreen has been properly cleansed off.

ConsI tried this product once based on the recommendation of a YouTuber, but this product is really not recommended. By the way, my skin is dry and I don't have any trouble, but I have redness on my cheeks and peeling. However, when I apply this product, my face becomes extremely oily. The oiliness doesn't make my skin more moisturized, it just makes my face greasy and highlights the peeling. And the coverage is almost 0!! I'm the type who always wears sunscreen, and I've tried a lot of different products, but this is much more uncomfortable for my skin than even cheap sunscreens. At first, it's extremely oily, but over time, my skin becomes completely dry.
TipIt's just a sunscreen that you can quickly apply on your face when you're going to the supermarket or somewhere not too important. Of course, I'll never buy a sunscreen like this at this price again ㅡ.ㅡ

I ended up buying a product that was recommended to me, and I'm really happy with it - I'll definitely be repurchasing! It works great under any foundation I've tried.
ConsThe only downside is that the price is a bit high considering the amount of product. When I was younger, I always preferred matte and powdery finishes, but as I've gotten older, I've become more focused on the glow. The slight oiliness could also be seen as a drawback.

Even though it is a mineral sunscreen, there is no noticeable white cast. 2. It applies smoothly like a lotion. 3. In my case, I did not experience many breakouts when using this product. I started using this product because organic sunscreens would cause me to have blemishes and eye irritation. First of all, even though it is a mineral sunscreen, the application is good and there is almost no white cast (the skin tone color may have also contributed to this). I used about 4 tubes of this product and it applied well even when applied generously, as it absorbed nicely without leaving a thick layer. In my case, compared to organic sunscreens, this sunscreen did not cause any eye irritation or increase in blemishes, so I used it well. It is a moist and thin product, so it felt comfortable on my skin.
Cons1. There is a noticeable transfer when used alone. 2. The amount is small for the price. 3. When applied over a dewy foundation or cushion, the makeup tends to break up. Since my skin is combination, leaning towards oily, the moisturizing feeling sometimes felt too greasy. And unlike other sunscreens, it didn't have that seamless, melted-into-the-skin feeling, but more like I had just applied a lotion. So when using it alone, I had to be careful not to touch my face too much (as it would leave an oily residue). It's expensive, so I could only use it on my face and not my body, which was a shame. And personally, I've recently noticed that when I use it with a dewy foundation or cushion, the makeup tends to become patchy and break down. I'm considering switching to a different product, but I may come back to this one again.
TipI've tried both the sheer and sheer tint versions, and the sheer tint applies more naturally and doesn't become patchy, so I would recommend that one! And when applying with your hands, it applies the best and there's no product waste.

I'm on my second bottle of this product now, and I really like it - it has the right amount of oil, the formula is watery and easy to apply, and it adheres well to the skin.
ConsWhile I had a great experience with no breakouts, my friend with oily skin said it was way too emollient for her, especially in the summer. I'd probably not recommend this to people with very oily skin types.
