I have been using Clinique sunscreen for over 10 years.
It's quite good.

Be sure to shake the product well before use to ensure the ingredients are properly mixed.

The product comes in a very sturdy plastic container, which can make it difficult to dispense the right amount, considering the price and volume.

If you have sensitive skin and it tends to break out easily, this product may not cause breakouts, even though it has a slightly oily finish that gives a glossy look.

- No pore coverage. It's funny to expect pore coverage from a sunscreen, but many mineral sunscreens have a thick, pore-filling texture. This one just sits on top of the skin without filling in the pores.

- Shade... The Sheer Tint shades are too dark. I have a skin tone around 21, but the Sheer Tint shades end up making my skin look a bit dull. ⭐️Those with brighter skin tones should go for the Sheer shades!⭐️ 
However, for someone with a skin tone around 23, the Sheer Tint shade would likely look very natural.

If the color had been prettier, I probably would have continued using it. But the off shade cost it one star, and the oily, pore-sitting texture cost it another star.

- Non-drying and lightweight sunscreen. Among the sunscreens I've tried, this seems to be the least drying...? Clinique really makes great sunscreens. It's easy to apply the right amount since it's not drying (though it does become a bit drier over time as it's a mineral sunscreen).

- Smooth application. The formula is just like a sun milk, so it glides on the face smoothly. There's none of the thick, sticky feeling typical of mineral sunscreens.

- No eye irritation. Eye irritation is the most important factor when choosing a sunscreen, and while organic sunscreens are a no-go, some mineral sunscreens can still cause irritation. But this one doesn't.

Overall: People who use this product tend to buy multiple bottles, and there's a reason for that. It manages to overcome the dryness and white cast that are characteristic of mineral sunscreens. I don't use it often because I picked the wrong shade, but once I finish my current bottle, I'll repurchase in the right shade.

 When I buy sunscreen, I always prefer to get one with a tinted version. Without any color, it's hard for me to tell if the cleansing was effective. I can check if it's been properly removed by seeing any residue come off.

So this time, instead of the clear version, I opted for the tinted one. The tinted formula allows me to visually confirm that the sunscreen has been properly cleansed off.

 Since my skin is quite sensitive, I'm not the type to wear a lot of makeup. Maybe 3-4 times a month, I'll just apply foundation on top of sunscreen or dust on some powder over the sunscreen.

With this sunscreen having some oiliness and a slightly greasy feel, I think it would be burdensome for oily skin types to layer a lot of makeup on top of it. The sunscreen itself already has a somewhat heavy, emollient texture, so adding foundation or powder on top might feel too much for my sensitive, oily skin.

 This product was what I found after natural oils didn't work for me. I've been using Clinique skincare for over 2 years, and it's been good for me since natural oil ingredients don't agree with my skin.

Among the reviews, some said the product feels heavy or watery, and that when applied, the face becomes oily and feels like it has a film over it. So I cleansed my skin with a cleansing water and applied it right away.

The texture is similar to the Clarins sunscreen I used before. The ingredients are better than Clarins, which I believe is a chemical sunscreen, while this one is a mineral sunscreen, so I feel more assured.

Those who have used the Clarins sunscreen or Shiseido Anessa sunscreen will find the feel similar. However, it's less oily when applied, and since it's a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't sink into the skin, so it has a more lightweight feel.

The reviews mentioned that it washes off easily in water, so it may not be suitable for water activities. But since my outdoor activities are just walking the dog, it worked fine for me.

And since I use cleansing water instead of oil cleansers, the easy washability is actually preferable for me.

I've been using it throughout this summer and into the fall, and fortunately, I haven't experienced any skin issues. In fact, the feel has improved as we've moved into the fall season. Lately, I've been applying it right after my Etude House Soonjung Gel.

Despite having fairly sensitive skin and often turning into a 'Hongik-in' (a Korean idiom meaning 'to turn red') when I apply something on my face, this product didn't cause any such issues, which I'm quite pleased about.
