Pros
I have cystic acne or acne that flares up occasionally, so I strongly recommend this product as a soothing treatment. (The pimple-reducing effect is also great) I've tried all sorts of products since middle school, but this has become my go-to soothing item. I purchased it from the Hansalim store, and out of all the aloe vera soothing gels I've tried, this one has the most immediate and effective results. Even if you don't have acne, it's great for soothing irritated skin. However, it's not a miracle cure for acne - it just helps calm the inflammation, but doesn't completely treat the underlying condition. So don't expect too much. Skincare products can't fix everything that's going on internally. But compared to other acne spot treatments, this has been much more effective for me personally. In my case, my face gets red just from cleansing, so applying this afterwards is so refreshing and soothing. There are a lot of aloe vera gels out there (especially the ones that claim to have high concentrations), but I've never seen results like this one. I think I've already gone through about 5 tubs of it. (On the other hand, the large-sized aloe vera gel I bought from Olive Young hasn't been used much because it's not effective...)
Cons
First of all, applying too much of this will make your makeup slide off. You should apply it thinly, and you can't just use this product as your entire skincare routine. Especially for those with dry skin, it may even make your face feel a bit tight afterwards. The texture is moisturizing, but it dries quickly while leaving a cooling sensation. For me, I apply toner first, then use this product when my face is still damp, and then I'll add a cream or something else before makeup. It depends on my skin's condition that day. I had to take off one star because of the pilling issue.
Tip
When your face is looking really rough, this is the product to reach for! But don't overdo it - too much will make it feel sticky and thick.

Pros
The product is really great. I had a lot of acne scars and active acne, especially on the sides of my nose and cheeks where my pores were very visible, and I even used to squeeze them. It was really severe, but after applying a generous amount of aloe vera gel and going to sleep, it improved a lot - except for maybe one or two stubborn spots. I've tried all kinds of products to treat my acne, but it seems like my skin responds best to natural and gentle products.
Cons
After applying a generous amount, the aloe vera gel dries out and leaves my skin very dry. The more I apply, the drier it gets later on. It's best to follow up with a gentle moisturizer.
