ConsI don't know why I'm getting breakouts with this aloe product. It might be due to the starch content... And it's really pilling up. When I apply aloe and then layer a lotion or skin product on top, it all just pills off.

While it may feel a bit drying for those with oily skin, I think it could work well on its own for them too. I have combination skin with redness, so I tend to run a bit warm. But when I apply this chilled, it helps calm the redness and lower the heat in my face! With consistent use, my skin starts to look more hydrated and plump than before!!!
ConsIf you apply too much of this product, the excess that doesn't get absorbed can leave a residue on your face that can peel off later on. So it's best to just use the amount that gets fully absorbed.
TipI saw this technique on YouTube and tried it myself! First, prepare a cool, damp towel by lightly freezing it. Also, keep this soothing gel in the fridge so it's nice and chilled when you're ready to use it. Then, generously apply the soothing gel all over your face. Since it absorbs well, you can apply it thickly. After that, drape the cool towel around the back of your neck for a soothing compress. Let it sit for 10-20 minutes, then gently wipe away any remaining gel. This helps bring down facial heat and tighten the pores! I followed the YouTuber's advice and it really works great.

ConsI think they put too much thickening agent, as it was layered like a mask. I won't buy it again. Also, the amount is small for the price. The cheek area became red and itchy, so I had to reapply it often, but it didn't really calm down, so now I've switched to a different aloe gel. Supia-nim, who's reading this review, please only use a small amount of thickening agent.
TipI apply it instead of skin toner after cleansing. There are no special tips.

Gentle Ingredients The product seems to contain a lot of aloe and does not have any irritating ingredients, which I liked. 2. Fragrance The refreshing aloe scent was pleasant and not at all off-putting. 3. Cooling Sensation The signature cooling sensation of aloe vera helped revitalize my tired skin.
Cons1. Drying and Caking This product doesn't seem to fully hydrate the skin. I had to layer it multiple times to get the desired moisture level, but then it would start to cake and feel tight on my skin. Applying other products like creams or foundations on top was also difficult. It's a struggle - not enough with one layer, but layering leads to dryness and cakiness. 2. Stinging This may be an issue with my skin type, but I experienced more of a stinging sensation rather than a sense of improvement when using this product. It wasn't an immediate stinging right after application, but more of an itchy, irritated feeling after it had absorbed a bit.
TipStoring this in the fridge and using it adds an even more refreshing cooling effect, which was great. The product also has a slightly tightening feel as it dries, which may help with pore refinement. For those who experience the stinging sensation like I did, it might work better on drier, sun-damaged areas of the body rather than the face.

The ingredients are good and I really liked it.
ConsIf you just use this one, your face will feel really tight. You definitely need to use something else with it, and don't use too much or rub it in too much - it'll make your face peel off like you're molting.
