ConsThe smell was not great... and over time, it felt a bit clumpy for a sunscreen.

The sunscreen I used to use was the Tony Mory Kids sunscreen, but this one definitely feels more moisturizing and lasts longer. These days, the winter has made the Tony Mory sunscreen feel too drying, but this one has a bit of an oily feel to it. At first, I thought it might be too oily, but it seems to absorb well into the skin. It applies without any white cast, giving a safe and comfortable feel. After using it for a week, I haven't experienced any breakouts. It definitely has a clingy feel on the skin.*^^* It spreads thinly and evenly, so I'm guessing the UV protection is effective as well.
ConsThe scent is like rubber? It seems to have a scent that some people sensitive to scents might not like. As time passes, there's a slight sense of it sitting on top of the skin.
TipYou can probably just use a toner or skin (for skin prep) before applying the sunscreen. (Especially for those with oily skin!)

The reviewer has sensitive, red, and acne-prone combination skin. After using the product for a week, the reviewer found the packaging design to be white with yellow text, which looked fresh and cute. The size was smaller than the reviewer's outstretched hand. When shaken, the liquid-type product seemed to have beads inside, so the reviewer recommends thoroughly shaking the product before use to ensure the ingredients are well-mixed. The container looked small, but since it's a liquid-type, the reviewer expects to be able to use a good amount of the product. Applying the product on the back of the hand, the reviewer found it to be a liquid-type foundation in the reviewer's skin tone. It was light, had low viscosity, and flowed smoothly. The application felt like using a velvet pore primer, leaving a clean and powdery finish. After application, the reviewer noticed a suitable brightening and tone-correcting effect. When applied to the face, the thin liquid spread easily and smoothly with the hands. Despite the reviewer's sensitive skin, the product was comfortable to use and did not cause any allergic reactions. There was minimal white cast, and it helped reduce redness, making it a good base for makeup. The reviewer describes the product as a gentle, tone-correcting sunscreen with a powdery finish.
ConsThose with dry skin types may experience some dryness with this product. Upon application, the liquid-type formula feels moisturizing and silky, even right after application. However, once fully absorbed, only a powdery finish remains. Those sensitive to fragrance may want to avoid this product, as it has a somewhat rubbery, unpleasant scent. However, the reviewer did not notice the scent when applied to the face, unless purposefully sniffing it. The reviewer also found that it is difficult to apply makeup on top of this product before it is fully absorbed, as the foundation seems to blend into the sunscreen.
TipThe reviewer found that when doing makeup after using the product, the smooth application of the sunscreen can be utilized in different ways: - If wanting a lighter base makeup, the reviewer recommends applying a small amount of foundation and blending it into the still-damp, silky state of the sunscreen, before it fully absorbs. - For more coverage, the reviewer suggests waiting until the sunscreen has fully absorbed and the finish is powdery, then building up the foundation by patting it on in layers as needed. So the product can be used flexibly as a base, depending on the desired makeup look and coverage.

Just swiping it on with my hands felt so nice. Since it's a thin formula, there's no thick or sticky feeling at all - it spreads smoothly and evenly without any stickiness. When applying and finishing, it doesn't feel sticky or greasy at all, just soft and powdery, which I liked. Personally, I think it's a bit heavier than the Biore UV Aqua Rich, but has a similar soft, powdery finish to the Biore UV Mild Care Milk. The Biore Mild Care Milk has a really nice powdery finish, but in the winter I couldn't use it because it made my face feel too dry. But with the Rohto Tinted product, I don't have that drying feeling. It's not super moisturizing, but it's not overly drying either, and the oil control is good over time. It does a great job of color-correcting, so I can just wear this sunscreen and skip the makeup base when I'm running out quickly. When I do wear foundation, I found that if I apply the full recommended amount of this sunscreen, it can look a bit too luminous and pale. So I started applying half the amount of a non-whitening sunscreen first, then topping it with this product, and that gives a more natural finish.
ConsI'm not sure how to describe the scent, but it has a slight earthy or foundation-like smell. The scent isn't great, but it doesn't bother me too much. If you're sensitive to fragrance, you may dislike it. The formula squeezes out quite liquidy, so it's not easy to control the amount.

First of all, the spreadability is very good. It feels more like a primer, lightly smoothing out the texture, rather than a sunscreen. I didn't feel any dryness, so I think this sunscreen would be suitable for those looking for a non-greasy formula. I tend to get breakouts easily when using the wrong products, but I had no issues with this one, which I'm very satisfied with!
ConsIt is somewhat oily. It's not too severe, but those with oily skin will likely notice it. It might become more noticeable as the weather gets warmer! The fragrance is also a bit unique. It's like a lemon scent without the freshness... This aspect might be hit or miss for some.

There was no oily or heavy feeling characteristic of sunscreen, and it spread smoothly. After application, it was immediately absorbed, leaving a soft, powdery feel that was very nice. It's similar to Shiseido Anessa, but has an even more powdery feel.
ConsThe fact that it's fragrance-free is both good and bad. Due to the powdery feel, it may feel a bit drying to use in the winter.
TipIt can be used daily as a tinted moisturizer, and since the coverage is practically non-existent, I mixed it a bit with a concealer to get both a light coverage and a tone-up effect. It was so good that I didn't even need to use a separate powder compact!

I tried it by applying sunscreen alone one day and sunscreen plus makeup the next day. First, the pros: 1. There is virtually no white cast. Even if you apply it in multiple layers, it only gets slightly whitish, which is almost negligible. It gives a subtle tone-correcting effect, so you can apply it lightly. This means your face won't look overly pale or whitish when you do your makeup. 2. It applies smoothly and moisturizes well. The sunscreen I used before (Ohui) also applied smoothly and moisturized, but this one has an oil-free formula, so even with just a little application, it doesn't get cakey or thick. Instead, it applies smoothly and doesn't get cakey. It reminds me of the skincare-type sunscreens from The Face Shop at road shops. 3. It seems like a gentle product. I have very sensitive skin, and even road shop sunscreens can sometimes irritate it, but after applying this and removing it 12 hours later, there was no redness or itchiness.
ConsFirst, the scent was unpleasant when I first opened the product - it smelled like a car air freshener. However, the scent was much less noticeable after the initial opening. Second, it has an oily texture. There is a slight oiliness, so those with extremely oily skin may not find this suitable. Third, there is a slight pilling or clumping effect. I could see some clumping when I applied it to the back of my hand. Fourth, is this suitable for teenage skin? Is the price point appropriate? If I were a teenager, I might find the texture a bit heavy. Also, the price per volume seems a bit high.
Tip1. Apply the sunscreen and wait a bit before doing your makeup. Otherwise, it can get cakey. On the days I just wear the sunscreen, I keep my base routine very simple, but when I do makeup, the slightly drying cream formulas can cause more pilling. Still, it's better than some of the super lightweight sunscreens out there in terms of not getting cakey under makeup.

I thought it would be like a BB cream since the color is beige, but it's actually a sunscreen with a slightly pearlescent, skin-tone color. When applied, it lightly blurs and brightens the skin. I think it would be great to wear when just going out in front of my house or for light makeup days. The formula is also thinner than regular sunscreen lotions, so it doesn't feel sticky and has a nice, soft finish. Usually mineral sunscreens can make the skin feel very dry, making it difficult to apply makeup on top, but this one is just the right amount of dewy. So I think it could be used as a base product as well. It also has a slight tone-up effect, so I'll probably use it that way often. And so far, I haven't experienced any breakouts!
ConsCompared to the price, the amount seems a bit small. Personally, I prefer sunscreens with a lighter fragrance, but this one has a slightly stronger scent. The scent is similar to regular mineral sunscreens. The fragrance does fade over time after application, but it's a bit heavy, so those sensitive to scents should test it out first before purchasing.
TipIt works great as a base before makeup, after finishing your skincare routine!
