It's relatively better than just black, but since it's still a black pencil, it does smudge a bit.. And it dries up quickly, so it sometimes breaks while I'm drawing.

I love the shimmery black pencil eyeliner! I used to use the Makeup Forever pencil, but when I was looking to try something new, I happened to swatch this product and fell in love, so I bought it!!
As you can see in the first photo, it has black with silver & blue shimmer in it!! When you actually apply the eyeliner, the shimmer is very subtle, and there's not too much of it, so you can use it without feeling overwhelmed. 
This product also applies really smoothly without any irritation!! There's no smudging at all, even when I rub it with my fingers!
