To be honest, I bought this with a friend without really knowing what it was. We just decided to try it after hearing about its pore-minimizing effects. At first, I thought I'd been duped by the department store employee, but I'm genuinely using it well before makeup to reduce the appearance of my pores. There are no downsides! While it's a bit pricey, it's truly effective! The pore-minimizing effect is amazing. You can use this even after applying makeup. Those with oily skin, don't hesitate to purchase it. - tn*******Combination SkinRecommendedMar 15, 2020
I consider this the champion of pore primers. I've tried many famous primers, but nothing compares to this one when it comes to concealing pores. It's truly unbeatable! The quantity is disappointingly small. Although a little goes a long way in covering pores, its soft texture means it can run out quickly if you're not careful. The price is wickedly high. Just a quick swipe and you're done! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 7, 2018
I usually apply my makeup very lightly and thinly, as I don't like heavy coverage, and I need something to cover small wrinkles... That's when I discovered this product! I use it on the laugh lines around my nose, and after applying my base makeup and sunscreen, it does an excellent job of filling in and smoothing out those wrinkles. Just a little bit of this and then applying my cushion foundation gives me the perfect skin-perfecting look! The stick format and smaller size might not be enough to evenly cover your entire face if you're looking for a primer to use all over. It's a bit firm and thick, so while it's great for targeting and filling in small areas, the application might not be as smooth if you try to spread it all over your face. * If you're like me and want that 'bare skin but flawless' look, but you have a few fine lines or pores, this is perfect to use before your cushion foundation. It gives a filtered, skin-perfecting effect! * Be careful not to use too much, as the thick texture can cause patchiness if applied heavily. - ap*************Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 18, 2018
It is easy to carry and apply due to the stick type format. The ingredients feel satisfactory. It effectively reduces excess oil when applied. It does not melt and remains firm even in the summer. It effectively absorbs oil and leaves a matte finish when applied to oily areas. The price feels a bit expensive. When applied before foundation, it slightly reduces the foundation's absorption. - cl******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 12, 2018
I went to test foundation and ended up falling head over heels and purchasing it It's amazing I sweat a lot and have oily skin, so I've been using only long-lasting foundations It's not matte, the skin expression is fluffy, it fills the pores well, and it was great After applying this stick and then layering a long-lasting foundation, my makeup didn't budge at all, even after an intense workout Just apply it on the nose bridge (the area with the largest pores and most oil production, where I do pore packs) And if you lightly apply the foundation, it becomes fluffy Even after an hour of intense sweating during exercise, the oil didn't come through and the makeup didn't wear off or crack Anyway, it's a great product!! I can't believe I discovered it so late, it's a hidden gem. The store said it was also good for touch-ups But when I tried to touch up, it all just slid off ㅠ I wonder if I'm not using it properly; At the store, they told me to just swipe the stick on and then lightly pat it in a circular motion to fill the pores When I followed their instructions, it worked perfectly^^ - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 10, 2018
It seems to slightly smooth out skin texture and also does a decent job at covering pores. When applied with a brush, it gets patchy and slides off, causing the pores to reappear. It takes a lot of effort to make it work a bit. Tapping the cushion with a damp sponge seems to help cover the pores well. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJan 4, 2018
These days, my pores on my nose and cheeks have become enlarged, and even when I apply makeup, the coverage seems uneven and the makeup doesn't seem to adhere well. This has been really stressful for me. But after reading the reviews, I decided to purchase this product, and even though I've only been using it for about a week, the difference in effectiveness is quite remarkable! Compared to the Porefessional by Benefit that I used before, this one might be a bit more oily in texture, but it still leaves a smooth, velvety finish. With the Benefit product, I sometimes had trouble controlling the amount and it would end up looking cakey, but with this one, it seems to work well for my dry skin without any issues like that. I'm really satisfied and would give it a high rating. The price is a bit steep considering the product volume, but the usage experience is so good that I don't feel too disappointed about it. I would still consider repurchasing this. - ao*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinJan 3, 2018
It immediately fills in pores, wrinkles, and other uneven textures. The application is also easy and not stuffy, and when applied, the shine in that area is quickly diminished, giving a silicone-like feel. In any case, that's the kind of sensation it provides. Why does it wipe off when I put makeup on top of it? You have to apply this as the very last step before going out, pretending to be bare-faced. When you actually do your makeup, the glow doesn't show through. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 17, 2017
I tried it out in the store and the effects were quite noticeable. It was visible to the naked eye. They said it could be used anytime after applying makeup, and the effects were quite good, but I had a somewhat uneasy feeling... After applying makeup, using the stick for correction and then covering it again with a cushion, it felt a bit stuffy, oppressive, and heavy. Unfortunately, it doesn't apply well. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJun 23, 2017
I use the Bobby Stick foundation before applying makeup, and it works well as a primer substitute. As a man, I don't like getting my hands dirty, so the stick format is convenient for me. I also like that it controls oil well. It's easy to carry around too. The price is ridiculous... The amount of product is so little.. Haha. After applying makeup, the white stick leaves a yellowish stain when used as a powder or blotting paper substitute, which is really heartbreaking. Trying to wipe it off makes the product amount decrease, which is such a waste. If you find primers troublesome to use, this could be a good alternative.
