It's a lightweight emulsion with a pleasant texture that's easy to use. While not sticky, it does leave a slight sheen after application, but it's more of a healthy glow that makes your skin look vibrant. The fragrance isn't overpowering, but it might be a bit much for those who prefer unscented products. For particularly dry areas, I've found it works well when mixed with the body oil from the same line.

The product seems gentle enough that it doesn't cause any issues. Even if it were marketed for facial use, the texture would be quite similar. I think this is because it doesn't contain typical cream emollients. After application, there's a slight tightness on the face. I mix it with another cream I have at home (a moisturizer previously prescribed by a pharmacy) to combat this. When combined, there's no tightness, and it doesn't leave an oily residue, which I love. Since using this, I haven't experienced a single blemish. While proper cleansing is crucial, as someone with combination skin who used to get acne before my monthly cycle, even those breakouts have stopped. The ingredients in this cosmetic are definitely high-quality. I have quite a few German skincare products at home, and this is one of my favorites among those I've brought back from Germany. While it feels soft and hydrating when you first apply it, it can feel a bit tight on the face. It's slightly lacking in oil content. First off, it's gentle and doesn't cause any irritation. While its mildness means it's not extremely hydrating, it has a pleasant scent and keeps skin relatively moisturized even in winter. It's on the pricier side. Also, you won't get that 'wow, amazing hydration!' feeling from this product.
