It's so easy to use. Just shake the product, apply it to a cotton pad, and wipe your face. That's all there is to it! It's also gentle on the skin, causing minimal irritation. The price is a bit wicked. If it's not on sale, you might hesitate to buy it. Since it's so gentle, don't expect any dramatic effects. And the scent... it kind of reminds me of a hospital? When you're dealing with a lot of dead skin cells, it works even better if you follow the instructions: soak a pad or cotton in the product, leave it on for a bit, then wipe it off. - oh******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 26, 2020
It truly exfoliates without any irritation. Using it just once a week isn't a hassle at all. After using this, my makeup applies much better than before. The price isn't exactly budget-friendly... However, since it's not for daily use, if you buy it during a sale, it lasts quite a while. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 24, 2020
It's just okay. I can't say there's anything particularly special about it. I actually preferred the cotton pads. I'd like to buy those separately. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 14, 2019
After using it, my face feels incredibly soft and smooth the next day! I can't seem to find it at Olive Young these days. I wonder if they've stopped selling it... - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 25, 2019
Oh, this is quite nice. I prioritize exfoliation, so I often buy peeling products. This one is effective yet less drying than wipe-off pad types like Stridex. I really liked using it because it leaves my skin feeling moisturized after application. The slightly higher price makes me hesitate to repurchase it. - ge**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 16, 2019
Skin type: Sensitive + Blemish-prone + Combination dehydrated skin + Cool undertone (shade 17) 1) I was amazed by how 'incredibly gentle' the exfoliation was during a skincare service at Dr. Jart+ Sinsa-dong store, so I bought it. I usually use Sidmool Green Tea Peeling Gel, but this product exfoliates even more gently than Sidmool. 2) You shake the bottle and exfoliate using the included cotton pad, which is truly fantastic. I wish I could buy these pads separately - one side for exfoliating, the other for smoothing. 3) Despite the ingredients not being particularly great, I haven't experienced any blemishes. Maybe because I only use it occasionally? I should have checked Hwahae before buying! I won't make this mistake again! Those with acne-prone/sensitive skin should avoid the ethanol + PEG combination! Due to the less-than-ideal ingredients, I can only give it 3 stars... Saturate the included cotton pad with the product, use the textured side to exfoliate, wait a minute, then use the soft side to smooth the skin and remove dead skin cells. Afterwards, soothe potentially irritated skin with a centella-based toner and Aromatica Aloe Vera Gel. Of course, exfoliating with this before applying makeup helps it go on more smoothly. - cm******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 22, 2019
Unlike other exfoliants that sting, redden, and hurt my skin, this one was gentle. I just applied it with a cotton pad, patting and gently rubbing it in, and it felt fine. The amount is too small. Apart from the limited quantity, everything else seems great. - pr*********Combination SkinRecommendedFeb 14, 2019
I love how gently yet effectively it cleanses. When I use it after a while, the cotton pad turns slightly yellow, giving me a sense of satisfaction as I see my dead skin cells melting away. The cotton pad can be a bit harsh on the skin. Some days it even stings. But I think it's more due to the rough texture of the pad rather than the product itself. I was about to repurchase after checking Hwahae, but wow, it contains 3 out of 20 ingredients to watch out for? - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 30, 2019
Helps remove dead skin cells and stubborn impurities that are difficult to eliminate with regular cleansing. While it might help with exfoliation, it actually caused blemishes, which was disappointing. It's also inconvenient to have to shake and mix it before each use. There are gentler scrubs out there that are more affordable and effective, so why spend more on this pricey product? - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 22, 2019
I had my skin age measured and was told I needed to exfoliate, so I immediately bought this product recommended by an Olive Young employee. I mentioned that I have sensitive skin prone to deep dryness, and they said this product would be the most suitable. I trusted their advice and purchased it. After using it, I'm pleased to say it doesn't cause any blemishes or reactions - it's gentle and great! After cleansing, just soak a cotton pad generously and wipe your face, then rinse with lukewarm water. It's a bit on the pricier side, but I'm satisfied since I bought it during a sale. It works wonderfully when you soak a cotton pad generously after cleansing.
