This morning, my chin suddenly became red and swollen, so I went to the dermatologist. They gave me an ointment similar to what I had, but instead of using it, I applied some baby cream I had at home. Surprisingly, the swelling went down in just a few hours (of course, I was also taking allergy medication). It seems to work wonders for soothing and moisturizing when your skin is super sensitive! I wanted to share this, but I got a bit sidetracked. I plan to use it for a few more days. After focusing on hydration all summer, it feels nice to apply a rich moisturizer again in the fall. It leaves a nice glow without feeling greasy. While I find it refreshing, those with very dry skin might find this moisturizer lacks enough hydration. If you only apply one layer, your skin absorbs it completely. Apply your hydrating products first, then finish with Hug Baby for the perfect skincare routine! - qu******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 13, 2021
It definitely keeps my skin hydrated for a long time! I love that it's organic, so I can use it with peace of mind. As I apply it, my hands also feel moisturized, which seems to help with their dryness too. So far, I haven't found any drawbacks to mention. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJan 22, 2020
I applied this to my 7-month-old baby and it has a great texture, leaving the skin feeling firm and moisturized! The ingredients are gentle, and I highly recommend it! There's hardly any noticeable scent. It would be more hygienic if they changed the packaging to a tube or pump dispenser. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 21, 2020
This product works really well for my whole family. It's gentle and absorbs beautifully. There's honestly nothing to complain about. No drawbacks whatsoever! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 14, 2019
As someone with sensitive, oily skin, I'm always on the lookout for products with gentle ingredients. Hug definitely lives up to its reputation as a trustworthy brand! While my scalp and face are combination-oily, they tend to get quite dry in autumn and winter, so I felt I needed to apply cream to my body. That's why I decided to try the Hug Intense Cream. Initially, I found that it doesn't glide on as smoothly as I expected, and honestly, it doesn't absorb super quickly. However, considering it's for body use, I think that's okay. I'm in my early 20s, but I can see this being especially great for pregnant women or new moms who need something gentle. It seems safe enough to use on babies too! Usually, body creams are better in pump bottles (constantly opening and closing a jar can let dust in and get messy). I found it a bit inconvenient to have to open the lid each time. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 9, 2019
As someone with super sensitive skin, I always test products on myself before using them on my baby. I tried a sample first and didn't experience any allergic reactions or sensitivity, so I decided to purchase it! Being aloe-based, it seems incredibly gentle. It has a subtle, natural scent that's quite pleasant. The hydration is so good that even adults can use it - it leaves the skin feeling really moisturized! It doesn't absorb quickly, but I've come to see this as a positive feature. It seems free of harsh ingredients, and I've found it's great for massaging into the baby's skin to aid absorption. For the baby's face, I apply multiple thin layers. For the body, I apply a thicker layer and massage it in. This way, it works as both a moisturizer and a massage cream, eliminating the need for a separate product. - ar*******Combination SkinRecommendedNov 24, 2019
This cream has a rich body butter texture, but it spreads easily and doesn't leave an overly heavy finish. It glides on smoothly without feeling too oily, making it usable like an emulsion. The moisturizing effect is decent, though it doesn't last exceptionally long. I usually judge a product's hydrating power by applying it at night and checking if my legs, which tend to be very dry, are still moisturized the next day. With this, my skin wasn't dry, but it didn't retain that deep hydration for long. If you're looking for something more hydrating than an emulsion but find creams or body butters too heavy, this might be perfect. I'd be quite satisfied using this year-round, except perhaps in the depths of winter. Personally, I prefer pump bottles, so the jar packaging is a bit inconvenient. Nevertheless, it's so hydrating and nice that I keep repurchasing it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 24, 2019
When applied, it's incredibly moisturizing and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. I have atopic skin, but I didn't experience any blemishes or side effects. It claims to provide 48-hour hydration, but for those with dry skin, it lasts about 7 hours at most, or as little as 5 hours. Anyway, it definitely doesn't maintain moisture for 48 hours. I'm currently finishing up my second bottle, and it seems to work well for me, so I'm considering repurchasing. However, I find the quantity a bit lacking, which is disappointing. The price-to-value ratio. It seems a bit expensive, haha! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 21, 2019
The hydration is absolutely amazing. I bought this for my child, but now my mom is using it too! The scent is just right, and my little one loves it. My child has mild eczema, so moisturizing is crucial. I'm confident this emulsion will keep us worry-free all winter long. The only downside is the size. Our whole family wants to use it, so I wish they'd come out with a larger volume option. Apply frequently throughout the day for best results. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 11, 2019
I'm not usually a fan of applying products to my body, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this. It's a bit thick, so you need to spread it well, but it applies smoothly. The hydration lasts incredibly long, and it doesn't feel like it's just sitting on top of the skin. Instead, it feels like it's really absorbed and stays effective for a long time. Apart from that, I'm satisfied with the product and think I'll use it well this winter. It's fragrance-free, but I wish it had a subtle scent of some kind. The volume is generous, but the packaging is a bit disappointing. You have to scoop it out with your hands, which isn't very hygienic as dust easily sticks to it, making it not so easy to use.
