The moment I smelled this product, I couldn't resist buying it. The fragrance is truly luxurious. It has a warm, cozy scent that not only appealed to me personally but seemed to be appreciated by others as well. When I went to the hospital for acupuncture and was waiting behind the curtain in my gown, a nurse's aide came in and commented on how lovely the scent was. Being an oil, it provides decent hydration, but for those with very dry skin, I'd recommend testing it in-store first. The quantity feels a bit small compared to the price. Although it's an oil, it's scented, so if you don't use it quickly, the initial fragrance seems to fade. As it's an oil, it takes some time to absorb, so you need to carefully massage it in while your skin is still damp after showering. Being an oil, every time I use it, I have to wash my hands with soap to keep the container clean when handling it. While it can be used on hair, it's not really a product that makes your hair moisturized and shiny like typical hair products, so I only used it on my body. Still, the pleasant scent makes it a product I don't dislike. As it's an oil, absorption can be a bit slow even with massaging. I'd recommend mixing it with an emulsion, butter, or cream for application. Since this product is already scented, it's best to mix it with unscented products or those with similar fragrances. Once you've opened it, use it promptly without letting it sit. In my case, when I set it aside briefly to use other products, the scent seemed to fade and it started to smell more like plain oil. - po******Combination SkinRecommendedJan 15, 2021
This cream has a similar scent to the Kukui cream, but it's even sweeter. The fragrance is absolutely my cup of tea! I think if you apply this oil and the Kukui cream to your hair, you'll be intoxicated by the aroma. The scent doesn't last very long. All the spa-like products seem to have a subtle fragrance. Among them, this oil appears to have a slightly stronger sweet scent. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 26, 2020
The scent is lovely, perfect for autumn and winter vibes! I'm the problem here, being lazy. Used it a few times, then abandoned it. The hydration is just so-so compared to the time it takes to absorb. - 19*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 15, 2020
This is an oil I absolutely adore and use frequently. I went through the entire bottle in just a month! It has a subtle, luxurious, and sweet fragrance. The hydration is excellent. I've found that applying it to slightly damp skin not only saves product but also makes it easier to spread and enhances its moisturizing effects. It would be so much better if it came with a pump dispenser. That would make it perfect! Lately, my finger joints have been aching (oddly enough!), so I've been opting for oils over body creams, just quickly massaging them in. The Monoi oil is quite rich, so applying it to damp skin helps it spread more easily. I always make sure to buy it when I get a 30% off text alert. Next time, I'm planning to purchase two bottles! - ur********Dry SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedFeb 16, 2019
I've been using this oil constantly since receiving it as a gift - there's no better oil for hydration. The scent is similar to Nuxe, and it's so healing just from the fragrance alone! While some might find the moisturizing power and rich texture a bit heavy, it's perfect for extremely dry skin. I'm satisfied with everything - the scent, how it feels, and the amount you get! The price is quite high. It's not easy to purchase unless you have a discount coupon or catch it on sale. Using a birthday coupon seems to be the best opportunity to buy it. It works great in synergy when used together with body cream. - he***Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 6, 2018
As someone with dry skin from head to toe, I'm not a fan of slippery or greasy body emulsions. It's a hassle to apply heavy products all over, so I was on the lookout for something new. That's when a Body Shop employee recommended this oil, saying it's great even for summer use. I bought it around May or June last year, and I still have some left. As suggested, I used it well throughout summer and all four seasons. The texture isn't slick; instead, the oil has a certain thickness when applied. It's like a liquid with a concentrated feel, if that makes sense! While it feels smooth during application, the finish is similar to a body cream. The scent is calm and pleasant, so I found myself applying it when I needed some self-care. I didn't use it daily, more like once or twice a week. It was also great for massages. Overall, it left a good impression, and I plan to repurchase. There's not much to dislike. If I had to pick something, I wish it were a bit cheaper or came in a larger size. After massaging this oil into my legs and shoulders, I sleep like a baby! - it******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 13, 2018
It's not too heavy and the hydration is top-notch. I really love it! The oil from before the renewal was a bit better, but I'm still very satisfied with this product. While the formula feels like it's changed for the worse after the renewal, I still think it's decent. However, the container feels a bit unstable - if you're not careful, you might spill it... I also apply a tiny bit to my hair ends before drying. It prevents static electricity! - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 10, 2018
I bought this for preventing stretch marks during pregnancy, but it's disappointing there aren't many reviews. Unfortunately, it didn't absorb well into my skin. It was disappointing that the product didn't absorb and just sat on top of my skin. - un********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinEnlarged PoresAug 25, 2017
The scent is natural and pleasant, not artificial. It gives you the feeling of being at a spa for a massage. You might wonder what I'm talking about, but trust me, you'll definitely feel it when you try it... To be honest, I'm not sure about its specific benefits, but my skin did feel a bit softer. While the fragrance is nice, it's not exceptionally great and might become tiresome over time. I'm not certain about its effectiveness, but it might be okay with consistent use. However, considering the price-to-performance ratio, I wouldn't recommend it. - ti**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinDec 3, 2016
I absolutely adore this product! The bottle is so luxurious and beautiful. Highly recommended for damaged and dry hair! It's also great as a body oil - truly versatile. As a daily hair oil, it's simply fantastic. It really makes your hair so much softer and transforms it into shiny, lustrous locks. Before discovering this, I tried so many other products, but nothing compares to this one. It's a must-have for those with bleached or color-treated hair! The only downside is that there's nothing to dislike! Well... just be careful not to apply too much as it can make your hair greasy. Use a moderate amount when applying. For best results, massage it into your hair 20 minutes before shampooing. Also, apply it before and after drying your hair.
