As I work out and shower daily, my skin tends to get extremely dry, especially during fall and winter. I've been trying various popular body emulsions and creams from different brands. The Body Shop is famous for their body creams, also known as body butters, so I've tried several of their products. Among them, this one feels the most intense~. Not only does it have a rich floral scent, but the texture is also heavier compared to other Body Shop body butters. Despite this, it doesn't feel sticky or sit on the surface. Instead, it absorbs quickly, leaving my skin moisturized for a long time. It's pricier and feels like a premium line from The Body Shop. The only drawback might be that it's more expensive compared to other body butters from The Body Shop, which can be a bit burdensome. Other than that, I can't think of any reason not to choose this product. Its hydration power is better than any other product I've used so far. Oh, and while the scent isn't bothersome and has a luxurious floral note, it is quite strong. Those who dislike strong fragrances might find it off-putting. For those who use it regularly, it might be good to reduce the cost by purchasing during The Body Shop sales, at duty-free shops, or through direct overseas purchases. - rh**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinFeb 22, 2022
The fragrance is really lovely, but the drawbacks are too significant. I don't think I'll be repurchasing. 1. It completely upset my skin 2. Applying it causes severe pain - not just a tingling sensation, but actual pain 3. The ingredients are very poor quality 4. It leaves me with hives 5. It's just a chemical-laden body cream It caused atopic dermatitis-like symptoms all over my body where I applied it, similar to tiny blemishes but much worse I bought this product from a store with plenty of time before expiration, but why does it cause such extreme pain, not just irritation, when applied? The allergic reaction with tiny bumps doesn't show up well in photos, but in person it's extremely severe My husband asked what happened to my skin, saying my entire body feels bumpy to the touch - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 1, 2022
The scent is absolutely delightful and it seems to be the ultimate for hydration! After applying, the warm, pleasant fragrance really lifts my mood! Those with sensitive skin or allergies should avoid this. After using it for two days, I experienced such intense burning that I had to wash it off, and I haven't been able to use it since. - rk********Combination SkinAcne SkinDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 18, 2021
The scent is absolutely divine! It's a velvety texture, so it feels less rich than the Coco-i cream. It moisturizes well, and the large size means it lasts a long time! The only downside is that it's a scoop-out type. I understand The Body Shop is committed to reducing plastic, but it's slightly inconvenient to use. - ke****Oily SkinOct 9, 2021
Absorbs beautifully. It sinks right into the skin after application. No sticky feeling. Generous amount in the container. I bought this cream for fall and winter use, but it lacks sufficient hydration. While I purchased it for its pleasant scent, applying it after an evening shower leads to sleepless nights due to the strong fragrance. Might work well as a perfume before going out. - dm********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 10, 2021
It provides great hydration for dry or super sensitive skin, and the fragrance is absolutely delightful! The price point is a bit steep, but the generous size means it lasts well over a month with regular use. It's light and refreshing enough to double as a hand cream. - ki*******Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 14, 2021
The fragrance is wonderfully subtle yet has a quiet confidence about it! The large volume makes it convenient to use generously, and the scent is truly luxurious. The price point is a bit steep, which can occasionally feel burdensome. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 9, 2021
I apply this body cream after every shower, and it's wonderfully moisturizing without feeling heavy, even in summer. It's slightly pricier compared to other body creams and tends to run out quickly. - ri*******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 14, 2021
The hydration power and scent are great, making it perfect for winter use. The generous amount lasted me the whole year. As someone with oily facial skin but dry body skin, regular emulsions never worked, but this product was a game-changer. The price point is a bit wicked, so I'll need to stock up during sales. - Hwahae UserDry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedFeb 22, 2021
1. Fragrance: A delightful blend of floral and milky notes 2. Hydration power 3. No sticky feeling: The texture is incredibly unique! When you scoop it up, you can immediately feel the moisturizing effect. Applying it feels remarkably refreshing and hydrating, almost like you're spreading water on your skin. Yet surprisingly, it's not sticky at all, and it leaves no residue as if you hadn't applied anything. This is my go-to body emulsion that I use every day! Nothing negative except the price It's best to take advantage of discounts during the bi-annual sales, duty-free opportunities, official The Body Shop channel promotions on 11st, or Kakao Talk sale broadcasts to purchase at a reduced price.
