No need for a separate body emulsion after scrubbing. Likely great for dry skin. (For reference, I have oily skin) 1. Feels like a mix of oil and sea salt. 2. The oil can't be completely washed off with water. Those with oily skin should be cautious. I won't repurchase. (I bought this without knowing better because a Body Shop employee recommended it wrongly. So I can't use it on my chest or back... I only use it for exfoliating exposed areas like arms and legs) 3. The scent is strong, so make sure to smell it before buying. I use it as an exfoliator on my arms and calves (scoop with fingers and keep rubbing until the sea salt dissolves, whether on arms or calves). Washing hands with soap after use reduces the slippery feeling. Still, it doesn't wash off completely as it's oil-based. This is my first time trying a scrub, and so far I'm really pleased! I love the scent, and my skin feels incredibly soft after use. I'll have to think about repurchasing due to the ingredients though. Looking at the ingredients list, it doesn't seem to be the gentlest product out there. Since I have dry skin, I tend to dilute it with a bit of water when I use it. It makes the scrub less harsh on my skin.
