The store employee said it wouldn't melt, but it did. After using it, it feels like a scrub that leaves your skin as moisturized as if you'd applied a body emulsion. However, it's not moisturizing enough to skip your regular body lotion. I tried this product because it claimed to be effective for keratosis pilaris, but I didn't see much improvement. The price is also quite steep. When showering or bathing, use it as if you're melting the granules while massaging your body. This will enhance the moisturizing effect and improve lymphatic circulation. I scoop it out with a spoon like the ones you'd find on a shaved ice dessert lid. I've been using this consistently even after the renewal. I think I've been using it for over a decade now, and it's a must-have after bathing. I've been using this product consistently since before its renewal. From autumn, I switch to the Brazil nut scrub-in-oil product. I truly believe these two are the best out there. It contains extremely fine salt particles, making it wonderfully mild. While the Brazil nut oil product naturally offers better hydration, my friend with oily skin found it a bit sticky. This African scrub gives more of a 'squeaky clean' feeling. So, I think it would suit all skin types except during winter. I've noticed quite a few people dislike the scent. I'm used to it so I find it pleasant... Just keep that in mind. The scent was surprisingly pleasant and not overpowering. Plus, it was gentle enough for everyday use without causing irritation. Having to melt the product by rubbing it on your body can be a bit tedious. For the best results, apply your favorite body product immediately after using this. It enhances the overall experience.

The oil makes it really nice to use. The luxurious scent is especially soothing, making each use feel like a spa treatment. I've found that I don't even need to use body lotion afterwards. It's absolutely fantastic during seasonal changes and winter! Since it contains oil, it might not suit those who prefer a squeaky-clean shower feel. The oily sensation lingers even after rinsing. Also, the packaging... most scrub products have this issue. Scrubs shouldn't come into contact with water, but the jar-type container makes this a bit inconvenient. I bought this on sale after being satisfied with the tester. It's moisturizing and gentle when exfoliating. After use, you can feel your skin become as soft as a baby's! Since it's a scoop-out type, it would be nice if they included a scoop with the product. It feels a bit pricey, but one purchase lasts about half a year, so it's worth repurchasing. After rolling, when the particles start to disappear, massage thoroughly with a hand towel for an even more effective exfoliation.
