The seller's assurance was quite puzzling. Instead of saying "it may improve," they insisted "it will improve, it will get better." This strong confidence gave me high expectations and trust, making the eventual disappointment even greater. Their attitude during the consultation was also very frustrating (they even left me on read at the end). My own tone was also not ideal - I think the conversation would have gone more smoothly if it had been over the phone. I believe body troubles do require some degree of exfoliation, which I had also heard from the dermatologist. So during the consultation, I asked a lot of questions about why they were absolutely against any exfoliation, and also about the pH-balanced aspect. But the answers were always the same - "absolutely do not do it, just follow what I'm telling you and it will improve." As time passed and based on my experience, it seems exfoliation is in fact necessary. Ah, and when I used the body wash just once, my skin texture improved significantly. So for dry skin types, their recommended method may work. But for troubled, enlarged pore skin like mine, it's a definite no-go.
