I bought this at duty-free when I needed a waterproof product for vacation. I wouldn't recommend it to beginners though. While I've listed quite a few drawbacks below, which might make it seem not so great, the reason I'm giving it a good score is this: Brow mascaras that are good at setting brow hairs often contain a lot of wax, which can be surprisingly weak against humidity. So, I use those to set the hairs first, then lightly apply this lightweight waterproof product on top. It works better in humid weather, which is why I use it often and didn't give it a bad score. - It's more watery than expected and transfers easily. However, once it's dry and set, it lasts quite a while. It barely sets brow hairs in place though. - After using it for a while, the product starts to clump up like a gel? It becomes really difficult to control the amount you apply... - The brush is made of silicone, not bristles, with a round tip. But it feels useless. I thought it would be good for touching up the front and tail of the brows, but the formula is too runny to control well. For best results, use a brow mascara that sets the hairs first, then lightly apply this product on top. Your brows will stay put even in humid conditions! - du******Dry SkinRecommendedJun 3, 2019
I went to buy Benefit's brow pencil but ended up being persuaded to try this instead - and I'm so glad I did! Usually, I avoid brow mascaras because they can look messy, but this one is a game-changer. It's a unique formula without fibers, so it doesn't smudge onto the skin at all - it's amazing! I wanted to swatch it on the back of my hand to show you, but it literally only sticks to the brow hairs and not the skin, so I couldn't even get a swatch! Even if you apply it generously, it only coats the hairs, resulting in a super clean look without that messy mascara feel. I absolutely love it! I'll definitely repurchase when I run out... This actually satisfies me even more than the brow pencil! There's nothing I dislike! I love how it doesn't make my brows look caked-on or overdone. - eu********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMay 24, 2019
This is the product the artist at Benefit's Brow Bar used on me. It's great for tidying up the overall brow texture as the final step, especially for creating a natural look at the front of the brows. For the brow's beginning, use the trident-like tip to define, then brush through the middle and tail with the mascara-like part. Benefit offers 11 different brow products, which is fantastic as you can choose one that suits your brow characteristics and color perfectly. I can't think of any drawbacks. Unlike other brow mascaras, it doesn't clump and is easy to use. - pf*****Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityApr 2, 2019
I can't think of a single positive thing to say about this product I feel like I was sold on this brow pencil. It's the epitome of unnecessary luxury. Don't fall for the sales pitch - it's ridiculously overpriced and nothing more - ju****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 4, 2018
For finishing touches after filling in your brows, nothing beats this for grooming and shaping. Plus, the brow mascara wand is perfectly designed for eyebrow maintenance. The pigmentation is so weak! On days when I use this alone, my brows look practically non-existent. I really can't understand why the color payoff is so poor. - 11********Combination SkinAcne SkinFeb 27, 2018
I've tried several brow mascaras from drugstores, but they always clumped and applied too dark. This one, however, looks so natural! It feels like these are just my own eyebrows. There's not really anything bad to say. If I had to nitpick, maybe the product quantity feels a bit small? My routine: I use an eyebrow pencil to outline the shape, fill in just the tail with the pencil, and then gently brush this through the front of the brows back and forth. That's it! - pb******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 15, 2017
I snagged all three of Benefit's new 'magic wand' brow series, and let me tell you, the packaging is absolutely stunning across the board. They've included this clever little star-shaped triple-pronged tool to prevent product clumps from sticking to the end of the mascara wand - talk about attention to detail! I'm seriously impressed. The formula doesn't make your brows stiff or crunchy as it dries, and the wand itself is short and slim, making application a breeze. This product feels like a bit of a luxury identity crisis. It's more of a primer to maximize volume for those already blessed with full brows, rather than providing any real color payoff. I was swayed by a beauty YouTuber's rave review, but I should've considered that she's American with naturally different brow density. There's practically zero pigmentation. If you're using brow mascara for volume, this is closer to just a brow brush. It's pretty much useless for the typically short, fine brows of Asian features. When I passed it to a friend, they were baffled by its purpose. Using it alone requires countless coats to see any effect.
