When you first apply it, it's so convenient - it transforms from an oil to a foam when it touches water! After using this, I got blemishes I never had before... The dead skin cells on my nose area made my makeup flake off. Seriously, I only used it for two days and I just want to throw it away. It feels like I wasted $10... I thought it was just me, so I downloaded Hwahae to check the reviews, only to find out I'm not alone... Ugh, I definitely don't recommend this.

The cleansing effectiveness was also impressive. Usually, if I use the wrong product, I wake up to a face full of acne the next day, but this one seems to work well for me! Maybe it's because it was recommended by someone who works at Holika Holika. Anyway, I'm really enjoying it! I'd definitely recommend giving it a try! After cleansing with this, my skin feels a bit tight. Also, if it gets in your eyes, it stings much more than typical cleansing oils. And it doesn't taste good (if that matters?). Other than that, I didn't have many complaints! This product is perfect for double cleansing! My skin is super sensitive, and I always struggled with redness and pain after cleansing. But with this cleanser, my skin feels normal! I use just one or two pumps, gently massage it all over, then add a bit of water to create a lather. After rinsing, my makeup is completely removed, and my skin doesn't feel tight at all. It's so comfortable! Highly recommended! I'm disappointed to see Cocamide DEA listed quite high in the ingredients. There have been many articles about it being a potential carcinogen. That's why I'm deducting one star. Pro tip: Add Holika Holika as a friend on KakaoTalk to receive discount coupons that you can use during sales.
