At first, the scent was healthy? and the ingredients were fine, but most importantly, the moisturizing power was really great, and my atopic dermatitis improved a lot, so I used it really well for about 4 bottles...

Pros
Our 5-month-old baby developed newborn acne on their face and head around 6 weeks old. The doctor said it would naturally go away without any treatment, so we left it alone, but then they got bacterial infections twice and had to take antibiotics. 😢 After that, we got a steroid prescription and saw a big improvement, but as you know, steroids shouldn't be overused, so we're looking into various creams. Now at 5 months old, they say it's like eczema. The first time using Aveeno Dermexa, the moisturizing power was amazing. Just applying it twice a day left their skin feeling soft and supple all day. But the eczema-prone areas around their mouth and cheeks are still getting acne flare-ups? I checked the ingredients and didn't see anything unusual... Especially their belly and back are getting acne. So I'm still unsure if I should keep using it. But their facial eczema has improved a lot with this product. The creases on their arms and legs don't seem to get much benefit no matter how much I slather it on.

As I mentioned, parts of their body like the belly and forehead get acne when I use it, while the eczema on their arm and leg creases sees no effect at all. The reviews for Atobearrier were really great, so I might try that next time. I don't think I'll be buying the Aveeno Dermexa again. A friend recommended it, and their baby's eczema improved a lot with it, but it just doesn't seem to work the same for my baby. I guess the effects can vary from person to person.
