L'Oreal True Match was my go-to foundation when I lived in the UK. It offers quite a range of shades, absorbs incredibly lightly, and gives your complexion a smooth, glowing finish! With so many superior Korean products available, this one doesn't seem to offer any particular advantages. However, the shades are quite pretty, so it could be a good choice if it suits your preferences. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 29, 2020
I absolutely love this! It's the first foundation I've ever tried, and even after a year, I haven't found anything better. The staying power is incredible, and it has a slightly runny consistency. It's not really a drawback, but... the shimmer particles make it a bit challenging to remove when cleansing. You really need to be thorough with your cleansing routine! There are tiny shimmer particles, so a cleansing water is a must. Also, I've been applying it with a sponge from Daiso - 60 pieces for about $2? I've tried various application methods, but this one works best for me! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 6, 2020
Texture: It has a slight oil-like feel and becomes matte. At first, it's hard to tell how matte it is, but as time passes, it adheres to the skin with a matte finish. I usually dislike sticky formulas and often finish with powder, but with this foundation, there's no need to 'bake' your skin with powder - it gradually becomes matte on its own. Color: Although there are only 4 shades, they have a good color balance without being too yellow or too red. Even after wearing the foundation for a while, there's no darkening, allowing you to maintain a bright complexion throughout the day. Longevity: I have oily skin that produces excess sebum on my nose and face just 30 minutes after application, and my skin underneath is dry. Usually, foundations break down quickly with my skin's oil production, but this one doesn't deteriorate as badly. If I touch up the oily areas around my nose with a bit of powder occasionally, it doesn't break down much due to oil. Light Color: The shades seem to be tailored for lighter skin tones. I usually use shade 23, and for those with slightly darker complexions like mine, the colors might appear too light. Blemishes: There are fine shimmer particles in the foundation, so you need to pay extra attention to cleansing. I'm not sure if it's because of this product, but I kept getting blemishes while using it. Since I don't get them when I'm not wearing makeup, I think it might be the cause. Those prone to blemishes should be cautious. Touch-ups: While the longevity is decent, when you touch up and apply more product, it can emphasize dead skin cells and texture. Being matte, it may cause more flaking than other foundations. - gi******Dry SkinRecommendedSep 2, 2019
As someone with a deep undertone and shade 23 complexion, I found the G1 color to be perfect. It nicely brightens my skin tone while offering impressive longevity. For those with dry skin, using this without a base might be extremely drying. In summer, I applied it right after my base. During fall and winter, I mixed it with a bit of moisturizer, though this method may lead to some pilling. I used this in combination with a foundation base, L'Oreal foundation, and Innisfree powder pact. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 12, 2019
As someone with oily skin, I was cautious when choosing a foundation. This one, however, is less oily than what I usually use. It adheres quickly to the skin and finishes with a fresh feel, making it perfect for my oily complexion. Plus, the G1 shade isn't too white and doesn't have much yellow undertone, which I really like. It's great for achieving a truly natural-looking skin! Occasionally, when I'm tired or my skin gets dry, it seems to dry too quickly, so I need to apply a lot of hydrating products. However, this isn't always the case. Before applying, I found that using an oil-free, hydration-rich base improves the foundation's adherence and application significantly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 30, 2019
I like it! It reduces facial shine and gives a natural-looking complexion. While it looks natural, it doesn't brighten my skin tone as much as I'd hoped. Next time, I'll try the Nude Ivory from the same line, I think. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 30, 2019
It applies smoothly due to its light texture, yet provides excellent coverage. There's no greasiness, and I've used it for 3 years without any blemishes. I just found out today that it contains 7 potentially problematic ingredients. What a disappointment! - rk******Combination SkinAcne SkinJan 23, 2019
The color was exactly the yellowish ivory I was looking for It's fine when I first apply it, but after a while, a strange, unpleasant odor develops on my face. I'm not sure if it's some ingredient in the product reacting with my skin, but I had to live with that off-putting smell until I finished the product. Since it's a product that's quite rich in oils, I think it's best to apply it by gently patting with a sponge or puff - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 9, 2019
The best part is its impressive staying power! It holds up well without breaking down for about half a day (based on winter use). I have an oily T-zone and extremely dry cheeks. No matter how much skincare I applied to my cheeks, dead skin cells always appeared. I wouldn't recommend this for combination skin types. - re**********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 7, 2019
First off, the ivory color is beautifully expressed. I dislike pink tones that accentuate redness and overly yellow shades, but this is just the perfect ivory hue. Given its affordable price, I think it offers excellent value for money. Unfortunately, its staying power leaves something to be desired. It also tends to highlight dead skin cells a bit, so it doesn't create a flawlessly beautiful finish. I think it would work well if mixed with a foundation that has good staying power but you don't use often.
