It had low oil content and barely transferred onto other surfaces. The coverage was excellent. I didn't experience any blemishes while using it. I'm not sure if this product has been discontinued, but it seems impossible to find in our country anymore. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 18, 2018
As someone with oily skin, I appreciate that this product isn't too greasy. The coverage is also good. It seems like they might have discontinued this product? The cleansing effectiveness has also decreased. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 3, 2017
The best part was that the color matched my skin tone well. I'm not exactly a bright tone, but I'm not too dark either. While using this, it looked so natural that people around me didn't even realize I was wearing BB cream. And first of all, the spreadability is not that moisturizing. If you're looking for something really moisturizing, this may not be for you. I purposely bought a slightly matte BB cream. I use moisturizing base products, so I wanted something a bit more matte. I didn't have any particular breakouts because of this, and of course I do get breakouts, but it doesn't seem like they're caused by this specifically. It's more like they come up a little bit when my lifestyle is off or I overdo it. But one thing I learned while using it is that there are about 5 iffy ingredients in it, I think. Two of them were a bit concerning to me. So I don't plan to repurchase. But I do intend to use up what I have here. The BB cream is quite matte, but after applying it all over, you can find a setting mist called the Sebum Control Toning Mist at Olive Young. It has something called Serozinc, and spraying that at the end makes it adhere more naturally. That's my little tip for you to try. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 3, 2016
I've been using the same Rakuten product I bought during my university days in Japan for the past three decades now. I only apply a small amount on weekends or when going on dates, so I don't even go through a full tube in a year. It has great coverage, and as long as I apply it properly, it doesn't look cakey or white. It also provides sun protection, so I always make sure to pack it when going out or traveling. This is the ultimate BB cream for men! I didn't realize it, but the product contains five harmful ingredients. I'll have to think about whether I should continue purchasing it due to these harmful components. Another downside, like most BB creams, is that the coverage starts to weaken once my face gets oily. This isn't really a dealbreaker, though, and it's quite water-resistant, so I've never had to reapply it when I'm out. Another issue is that, like with other BB creams I've used, it tends to sting my under-eye area over time. That's why I avoid applying it there and mostly use it to cover up my beard stubble and T-zone. Overall, though, I'm still quite satisfied with the product. I always make sure to dampen my face with a bit of water before applying this BB cream. That way, it spreads more evenly and thinly. I squeeze out about 1-1.5 cm on the back of my hand, then dab it on my forehead, nose, and cheeks. I blend the remaining product down towards my chin and along my beard line, working my way upwards. Just covering up those slightly darker areas and blemishes can make me look three times more handsome. Of course, the base product itself is already great.
