  Pros

  As someone with extremely dry skin and a wealth of dead skin cells, I've tried nearly every lip product out there. This is my first time using Fresh Lip Serum, and it feels so hydrating when applied!

  Cons

  However, the moisturizing effect doesn't last very long, and the price is quite steep for the amount you get. I was shocked by how small the product was when I first received it!

  Tip

  For best results, exfoliate your lips first, then apply the serum. Once it's fully absorbed, layer on another lip product to maintain even more hydrated lips.

  Pros

  I'm a big fan of Fresh products. I happened to receive a sample and tried it out, and my lips really did heal up nicely! I immediately bought it at the duty-free store and I'm currently using it. I've also heard good things about the Laneige lip mask, but for some reason when I apply it, it keeps swelling up and itching.. My lips are more sensitive than my skin, but this product was quite effective. The scent is also the typical Fresh lemon-brown sugar blend, so there's no aversion to it either:)

  Cons

  To cut to the chase, I don't end up using it much. The texture is just so sticky and gooey, you know? So if I apply it before my makeup and then try to put something else on top, it kind of hardens in that state and gets really sticky. So when I try to put something else on top, it just feels unpleasant. That's why I end up just applying it before bed and sleeping with it. But it's not like a thick, balm-like consistency either. It's more of a serum-like feel, so it doesn't really give the sense of protecting my lips. And for the price, the amount is ridiculous. The packaging is a different format from regular lip balms (kind of like a mini serum bottle), so you can visually see it getting used up really quickly. Honestly, unless it's duty-free, I'm not sure I'd buy it at full price. I think there are cheaper lip balms out there that work just as well, if not better.

  Tip

  It's better to apply a generous amount before bed rather than before going out. That way, you can wake up to smooth, flake-free lips in the morning^.^

  Pros

  It adheres nicely to the lips. That seems like a good thing, but after washing, the lip condition is the same. It's a vacuum pumping type, so that's good.

  Cons

  The price is too expensive. The capacity is small. The freshness is just so-so.
