If you use it, it can be drying, and for oily, acne-prone skin, this is not recommended for both morning and evening cleansing.

For dry skin, moisturizing is essential. Being able to cleanse the skin completely without any remaining oil would likely be detrimental for dry skin.

After using it, the skin feels smooth and clean, with no excess oil left behind, which is great.

The scent may be divisive, but it gently serves as an air freshener in the bathroom, with a refreshing aroma lingering around.

Given the importance of antimicrobial properties these days, the feeling of being thoroughly and cleanly washed is quite nice.

The only downside is that my skin feels a bit dry after washing.

I used to use the white one, and it also helped calm my acne a bit.

It's really great for oily skin, but I wouldn't strongly recommend it if your skin is dry.

It's a shame that the trusted Dial soap in White and Gold are no longer available. :(

Instead of cleansing, I use this. It doesn't cause any trouble and it's great.

This gold product is amazing.
I purchased it based on the recommendation of a dermatologist, and it's just as effective as taking isotretinoin or Roaccutane! If you're struggling with acne, you should definitely try it. It's much better than a foam cleanser.

Using this soap together with the Paula's Choice BHA has been great. I use it not just on my face, but all over my body, so I don't need a separate body wash, which is very convenient. I'd recommend this to anyone dealing with body acne.

+ Update on 1/7/2018: After a while, this soap started causing me some issues with folliculitis, so I had to switch to a different soap. I'm now only using it on my body, not my face.

Since this is a soap product, it has a high alkaline content, which can potentially cause skin irritation. But I haven't had any issues with that, and the lightweight lotion I use afterwards seems to help balance things out. Using the soap alone without the lotion does seem to result in more oil production, so applying the lotion is definitely helpful.

I've tried both white and yellow soap, but I prefer to use the yellow soap year-round, even in this cold weather. After washing my face, my skin becomes soft and any flaky skin can be gently rubbed away with my hands. It seems to effectively control the oil on my skin, and when used together with the Paulas Choice BHA, the results are even better. I've tried using a cleansing foam for oily skin, but over time it still leaves my skin feeling oily, so I'll likely continue using this yellow soap.

To be honest, the scent lingered a bit too long, so I didn't like it much.
Plus, every time I went to the bathroom, this soap smell...ㅠ

After washing, the dryness is just crazy. I have oily skin, but this dryness is just too much to handle...

I alternate between using gold and white, and when it comes to removing sebum, it's really great - it gives a very clean and refreshing feeling.
