For your skincare routine, I suggest using Dove Sensitive for morning cleansing, and after removing your makeup in the evening, follow up with the Dial gold bar for a thorough cleanse.

It can be drying, and I wouldn't recommend using it for both morning and evening cleansing if you don't have oily, acne-prone skin.

While this alone didn't cure my 7-year battle with milia, it certainly played a role in finally ending it. You can also find this at Co*p in the gold bar version. My husband, who has very oily skin, swears by this soap.

For those with dry skin, moisturizing is absolutely essential. Removing all traces of oil could be detrimental for dry skin types.

After using it, my skin feels squeaky clean. It removes all traces of oil, leaving my face perfectly cleansed.

The scent might be polarizing for some... However, it leaves a refreshing aroma in the bathroom, subtly acting as an air freshener

There's not really anything disappointing about it, but my skin feels dry after washing my face.

I used to use the white version of this, and it even helped calm down my blemishes a bit.

While it's really great for oily skin, I wouldn't strongly recommend it if you have dry skin.

As expected, Dial soap is a trusted choice. It's a shame they don't have the white and gold versions though!

The gold version is absolutely amazing! I bought it on my dermatologist's recommendation. After using this, all my blemishes disappeared to a level I've only experienced when taking isotretinoin or Roaccutane! If you're struggling with acne, you must try this! It's far superior to foam cleansers.

Using it with BHA worked even better for me. I use it not just on my face but also on my body, so it's convenient as I don't need a separate body wash. I recommend it for those with body acne. 

+ January 7, 2018 update:
After a period of good results, I experienced severe folliculitis due to this soap. I managed to calm it down with ointment and now I'm using a different cleansing soap. I'm only using this one on my body now!

Being a soap product, I was a bit concerned about its high alkalinity potentially causing blemishes. However, applying an emulsion afterwards seems to prevent any issues, at least for my skin. I'm using a lightweight emulsion. It's clear that applying a light emulsion after cleansing with the soap, rather than leaving the skin bare, helps balance the skin and reduces oil production.

I've tried both the white and yellow soaps, but I prefer the yellow one for both summer and winter, so I'm using it even in this cold weather. After washing, my skin feels soft, and if there's a bit of dead skin cells, gently rubbing with my hands makes them disappear. It definitely helps control oil for my very oily skin, and when used with Paula's Choice BHA, the effects seem even better. I don't often use foaming cleansers for oily skin because oil still comes through after a while, but this soap removes makeup well, so I'll keep using it.

To be honest, I didn't like that the scent lingered for too long.
  Plus, every time I went to the bathroom, I could smell this soap... sigh.

I alternate between the gold and white versions, and it's really great for eliminating excess oil. It gives my skin this wonderfully clean and fresh feeling.
