To be honest, I'd give this 2.5 stars if I could... This sun gel applies incredibly smoothly and absorbs well for the most part! When applying, you can feel both a cooling effect and hydration. After it absorbs, there's hardly any stickiness, which is great! My skin is super sensitive - to the point of needing dermatologist visits - but I've never had any blemishes from using this. However... it really stings my eyes terribly. My eyes hurt so much! It makes me tear up uncontrollably. The eye irritation is so bad that it's difficult to keep them open... If it weren't for this, it would have been perfect. Everything else about it is fine, except for the eye issue. - eg*****Combination SkinAcne SkinFeb 11, 2018
Why I ended up with this product: I was searching for a mineral sunscreen without stearic acid that clogs pores, and here I am. Recently, I've been struggling with blemishes due to whiteheads, so I'm replacing products containing pore-clogging ingredients. The good points of this product: 1. Ingredients: Honestly, it's pretty good. For me, it's better than products with pore-clogging ingredients. 2. No white cast: After struggling with sunscreens, finding one without a white cast feels like winning the lottery! 3. Application: It's lightweight, which is fantastic. It doesn't feel suffocating. Perfect for combination-oily male skin. 4. Shininess: There is some shine, but it's much better than Tony Moly's My Sunny? Sun Cream. If Tony Moly's shine level is 3, this product is about 1. 5. Blemishes: None so far. My skin feels comfortable. Some products make my face swell up like mosquito bites or cause itchy, pustular acne, but this one should work well for most people. 6. Price: Such great value for money! 7. Scent: The fragrance doesn't completely mask the base scent, suggesting they used a small amount. Still, it smells nice - in other words, it has a pleasant scent but not enough to fully cover the typical sunscreen smell. (Update) It stings my eyes... What should I do? Everything else is perfect except for the eye stinging... + The expiration date is relatively short. It's November 2018. Since I received it in early January, I need to use it up quickly. - aa********Dry SkinAcne SkinSep 5, 2017
I'll post a review after using up one. I'm using it for the second time now. It doesn't feel greasy and is refreshing. By applying a small amount and letting it dry, it dries quickly. I have acne-prone skin and always have acne due to my late school schedule, but I don't experience any stinging or redness when using it on my acne. I've also applied it to my arms, legs, and neck, and didn't experience any itching or hives. Since it's a sun gel type, it doesn't have makeup base functions, so those who don't use cushions, foundations, or BB creams and only use sun base shouldn't buy this. After applying, it can sometimes look a bit oily. Don't apply too much, try using a small amount. - sk*********Dry SkinMay 12, 2017
The sunscreen I had passed on before because it contained triethanolamine, which irritates my sensitive eyes, is the Fresh Mild Sunscreen. It was a bit drying, and after failing to find a suitable sunscreen for winter, I decided to order it anyway. For someone like me who wants to avoid avobenzone and BHT, this sunscreen is like a lifeboat. I used it for the first time today and surprisingly, my eyes don't sting!!! It's a revolution!! The application was smooth, it's moisturizing, easy to cleanse, without any white cast, and great value for money. My eyes don't sting at all. After using sunscreens with a white cast, it feels like this one is properly applied. However, my sister took it, saying it's moisturizing and doesn't sting her eyes. She was the first to settle on this sunscreen, and I've also come to appreciate its value. It seems like Innisfree is surprisingly good at making sunscreens! I hope they don't discontinue this product! As for the texture, it has quite a bit of moisture, so while it's not exactly cooling, there's a refreshing, cool sensation when applied. It has a lotion-like feel and leaves a dewy glow after application. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the shiny finish. The usage experience is quite similar to the Purito Daily Sunscreen. As a dry-combination skin type, both are a bit too oily for me in the summer, but they are still moisturizing. I prefer the ingredients in this one, so I'll be sticking with it. I'll decide whether to keep using it after trying it again in the fall and winter. ++ I've settled on this sunscreen. Even though it's summer and I prefer a more minimal routine, my makeup tends to slip off if I don't use this. However, it doesn't feel heavy or oily. I guess a dewy finish is a luxury for my dry skin type. I don't recommend this for oily/summer skin types. The moisturizing feel is comfortable for the skin, but when it's hot, I find my hair gets greasy faster when using this. Even with my dry-combination skin, by evening my T-zone gets very oily starting in May. It's really best to use this before April, and even in May it can make me feel like I'm in Dubai.. But at least it doesn't feel heavy or overly greasy. The usage experience is very similar to the Purito Daily Sunscreen! I'm also a dry-combination skin type who avoids oily summer sunscreens like the Etude House one. So I only apply this on my cheeks, and use a more mattifying mineral sunscreen on my oily T-zone areas! Sunscreens are so tricky to find, so I've settled on this one. Order it online. 9,900 won, 1+1, successful. Honestly, with this level of quality, I'd be willing to pay even 10,000 won per bottle. Maybe even more than that. I want to bow down to the Innisfree CEO. I hope Innisfree promotes this sunscreen more actively to benefit more people. ☆☆☆☆☆ = Holy Grail/Potential Holy Grail, get it!! ☆☆☆☆ = Good! You won't regret buying it ☆☆☆ = It's usable if you have it, but no need to go out of your way ☆☆ = Even if you have it, you probably won't use it ☆ = I'll throw it away within a few days
