As someone with combination dehydrated skin, my face turns into an oil slick from spring, and I have super sensitive skin too. Using oil-free creams left me feeling dry, and switching to emulsions as the weather warmed up still didn't prevent the oil from surfacing quickly. That's when I remembered this product and gave it a try - and wow! Even my T-zone, which usually defies sebum control fixers and powders, stays smooth and matte until the afternoon. I think this will become my go-to for summer! When the seasons change and there's a bit of wind, those of us with combination dehydrated skin might experience dryness. It's crucial to build a solid skincare foundation to prevent your makeup from pilling. Before applying your base makeup, squeeze out a small amount and apply it to oil-prone areas like your nose and forehead! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 26, 2019
I'm glad that the oiliness on my face has decreased. I think I'm getting pimples!!!!!!! I stopped using this and the pimples immediately went away haha - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 24, 2019
🥕 Noticeably reduced oil secretion As soon as you apply it, your skin looks powdery, as if coated. Even over time, oil secretion is much less than before application. 🥕 My own primer & base before makeup I used to use primers or bases with some oil or moisture content, but my makeup would break down quickly. Instead, I now apply this product thinly like a base, and then apply BB cream on top - the longevity has improved significantly. 🥕 Is it removing sebum or suppressing sebum secretion? This is a personal question I have. I don't think it's a product that removes sebum. It seems to simply block sebum secretion... In the long run, I'm worried it might actually damage the skin. But I'm still using it well so far haha 🥕 For oily skin types, try applying this thinly with a puff before foundation or BB cream. No need for powder treatment haha - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 5, 2018
My skin is quite oily, especially my nose, which is extremely problematic and has an unbelievable amount of oil. But after using this product, the oil has decreased from around 5 to around 3. Even in the extremely hot summer, the oil still comes back over time. And if I only use a foam cleanser, it doesn't all get removed, so I get acne on my nose. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 1, 2018
It's great! It's really good. This is the first time I've tried such an effective pore control product. Highly recommended!! After doing my morning skincare routine, I apply it and there's no irritation at all. It doesn't dry out my skin, but the oiliness is significantly reduced throughout the day. I used to have to apply the centella powder frequently, but now I only need to apply it once in the evening. Hmm... if I had to point out something, it seems the effectiveness is a bit less during the really hot summer. Make sure to apply it generously and evenly. - sm******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 25, 2018
I have sensitive and oily skin, but I'm too lazy to apply them separately, so I mix my sunscreen with it. Applying it this way reduces the number of steps and seems to help a bit in preventing the oil from coming up as time passes. They say that applying too much can cause pilling, but I only used one pump and didn't experience that issue. Now that it's spring, fine dust and yellow dust are getting worse... During those times, it's best to keep the skin supple! I recommend this for oily skin types! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 4, 2017
I've been using it for a week and I'm satisfied. ㅋㅋ As I have large pores and a lot of oil comes up, it gets clumpy and messy when I finish with powder, but with this product, the matte finish lasts much longer than when I use just powder. As a result, I have to blot my face less often, and my makeup lasts longer too. Before, I had to blot my face with tissues every time I went to the restroom or a restaurant, but after using this, I only had to blot twice. ㅋㅋㅋ This is a must-have item from now on. If you apply too much, it can get cakey and too dry, causing it to flake. ㅠ It seems like there are certain foundation formulas that work well with this product and others that don't. When I used it with the foundation for beginners, it worked great, but when I tried it with the Dior Ink foundation, it got cakey and messy. ㅋㅋ I think it works best with foundations that have a more dense, creamy texture. Also, the amount you use is important - I usually pump it out once, not pressing all the way down, just about 3/4 of the way, and apply it to the oily areas like my forehead, temples, and nose. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 25, 2017
The effects are really good!! The application is not bad either, and if used properly, the makeup does not smudge! I used to use a no-sebum product, but the makeup kept coming off and getting clumpy, and the oil was a lot ㅜㅜ After using this product, I'm glad the makeup doesn't come off and the oil amount has definitely decreased! If used a lot, it smudges a lot and comes off like flakes, just like other reviews ㅠㅠ If you don't use it quickly, it also hardens. And with the no-sebum product, you could reapply it in the evening when you felt the oil coming back, but with this product, once you use it, you can't reapply it. But it's fortunate that it absorbs the oil well enough that you don't need to reapply, though I'm not sure if it can handle the even more oil that comes in the summer; You really have to dab it on a little bit. If you apply it like a lotion, it will smudge and ruin your makeup ㅜㅜ It's really just a tiny bit, but you have to apply it that way so the makeup doesn't get clumpy. If you figure out the right amount to apply so your makeup doesn't smudge, it seems like a really good product - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 4, 2017
I apply the products in the order of skin - lotion, and by gently pressing the entire face, I get a smooth finish. I didn't feel any heaviness or clogging like some other people experience. By the afternoon, my skin still feels oily, so I really don't understand why this is supposed to be good. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 18, 2017
To be honest, I've been using seed extracts a lot, but I gave up on the scent. This cream is the first one that had a decent fragrance. And over the past year, my skin suddenly became very oily. Powders would cake up and oil papers would stick, but when I apply this lotion, it keeps my skin adequately moisturized without getting greasy. I'm planning to stock up on this personally. Hmm... I haven't found one yet, so I can't use it. But since this is a cream for oily skin, it would probably be best for those with oily skin to use it. In the winter, if I do a moisture pack and then apply the cream as the last step in my skincare routine, my skin feels smooth and supple without any flakiness. This seems like it can be used year-round.
