The color is on the darker side, calm yet sophisticated. As a warm autumn type, I thought it would suit me well, but there's a subtle dullness to it. I'd recommend this to those who look good in low-saturation shades! For a similar color, I find Estée Lauder's 'Burning Love' suits me better. (For reference, I also found Espoir's Modest a bit dull on me!) Anyway, it's classy and beautiful, so having one of these shades in your collection seems like a good idea. The dryness is expected with matte lipsticks, but it does seem to transfer a bit easily. - Hwahae UserOily SkinOct 14, 2017
This lipstick is so beautiful because of the color that I bought it as soon as I saw it! Chanel is nothing compared to this...Fall warm-toned ladies, you must buy this, it's so beautiful ㅜㅠ. This is on a different level from the MLDD lipstick sold at Roadshop...The color is high-end. When you apply it on your lips, it shows a slight purple tone, making it look chic, but it also looks warm like a rose color... If you're hesitating whether to buy this or not, I'm definitely in the 'buy' camp. It's beautiful whether you apply it with a gradient or as a full lip. To describe the color a bit, it's like a muted, not too deep, red bean porridge color...a velvety, not too dry rose color? ㅎㅎ Just try it on and you'll see how beautiful it is..ㅜ The price is in the 40,000 won range, so you'll have to expect your bank account to be drained... But I still recommend buying it. There don't seem to be any other downsides. Hmm, this isn't completely matte, but it applies like velvet or silk. However, if you have dry lips, it can feel a bit sticky when applying. So I apply a bit of lip balm or a moisturizing lip first, then blot the excess oil with a tissue before applying this. If it feels sticky when applying, try this method! ㅎㅎ
