  Even though the ingredient composition would not have been something I would have purchased during my ingredient-obsessed phase, the actual usage experience feels surprisingly gentle compared to the ingredients. The formulation is a gel type, but it's a bit more watery than typical gel cleansers. A single pump produces ample lather. As someone with oily/sensitive/redness/acne-prone skin... choosing a cleanser is an absolute nightmare for me. I've recently tested out several mildly acidic cleansers, and the ones that are completely non-drying don't work well for me and somehow make my breakouts worse, while the ones with decent cleansing power tend to leave my skin feeling very tight and gradually damage my skin barrier. So I was looking for something gentle yet with a touch of cleansing power, and I'm really happy with this one. It doesn't cause any redness or breakouts, and the irritation level is low as well. For morning cleansing, I just do a quick wash with a single pump of lather, and for evening cleansing, I do one or two pumps and roll it around a bit more before rinsing off. This way, it doesn't leave my skin feeling too tight, and it's just perfect.
