I used this back in college... I tried about 4 cushion foundations then, and this one was pretty decent. The coverage was satisfactory, and it wasn't too matte. However, since coverage was the priority, it did apply a bit thick. My memories are slowly fading away... It's a shame that products keep getting discontinued one by one. - ji********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 10, 2020
When I first started wearing makeup, a friend who was skilled in cosmetics recommended this product, saying 'Try this one!' I love the slightly moisturizing feel unique to cushions, and it's not too dewy. I still have some left before it expires, so I'm using it up, but it's a shame it's been discontinued. I don't have many blemishes, so I can't comment much on that aspect, but I found it challenging to cover the pores on the bridge of my nose. I started taking care of my pores later in life, so I often need to use concealer meticulously. Since I have oily skin, I also need to touch up frequently. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 7, 2020
The texture is nice and firm, giving great coverage! I usually only wear sunscreen, but on important days, this makes my skin look amazing. It's shade 23 but seems quite light? It's more like shade 22. While it does give a natural brightening effect, I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with skin darker than shade 23. Applying with a damp sponge makes your skin look super smooth! I don't really recommend the included puff though. It seems to absorb too much of the product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 15, 2019
It doesn't leave tear stains even when you cry. It's a decent, reliable product to use. Maybe it's because my complexion is on the darker side, but it left a grayish cast... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 12, 2019
Initially, it feels moisturizing and seems to provide good coverage But that's only at first! Once you go out, blemishes become visible, it gets oily after a while, and the makeup starts to separate and pill... - co********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 3, 2019
My skin occasionally looks nice with this. The color isn't too dark, it's just right. It breaks down terribly, leaving a messy appearance! And my skin feels suffocated. - ju********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 27, 2019
I've been using this for quite a while since it worked well from the start. My close friend even said, 'Sis, when I think of makeup, the first thing that comes to mind is that Missha beige compact!' For cushion-type products, I usually find the amount that comes out on the puff is too little, so I bought this tension compact. I loved how the creamy liquid foundation came out generously through the mesh. Its rich texture made me feel like it adhered better to my skin. I chose this because I don't like applying foundation with my hands or a brush, and it worked great. For touch-ups, applying a small amount gives a natural finish. Personally, I think shade 23 is spot-on. It blends well with my complexion without looking dark at all. While it was good at first, probably because it's marketed for its coverage, at some point I started to feel like it was sitting too heavily on my skin. (The heavy feeling made me switch to the Moisture version from the same line, which I'm still using.) I'm not sure if this is common with other cushions and compacts, but when I first started using it, the product didn't seem to be fully absorbed into the puff. This made it feel like it was sliding on the skin, and it was difficult to control the amount. - jj*****Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 24, 2019
I used to avoid cushion products because they typically have weak coverage (in my opinion), but this one has great coverage, so I'm on my umpteenth purchase! Although it's a budget-friendly cushion, it's a product that doesn't fall short of department store cosmetics at all. It's not really a drawback, but the shade might run a bit light. I use shade 23, and on days when my face is puffy, if I apply it incorrectly, it can make my face look even more swollen... On those days, I apply it more sparingly and use a thin layer of concealer to boost the coverage. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 10, 2019
I've lost count of how many of these I've gone through! Here's why I keep coming back: Coverage: I discovered this product while searching for something to conceal my acne scars, and it delivers. Many cushion products fall short in coverage, but this one stands out. Adherence: It sticks to the skin nicely. Pro tip: Make sure to hydrate well before applying for best results. Moisture: It's not particularly hydrating, which makes it great for oily or combination skin types. Longevity: The staying power is impressive for me! My dark circles are quite noticeable, but I rarely need to touch up anywhere else throughout the day. It can feel a bit drying during winter months. When using it in colder weather, I found I needed to apply a generous amount of moisturizer underneath. I've seen reviews mentioning difficulty controlling the amount dispensed. My solution: If too much comes out, I just tap some onto the lid and use it from there. Works like a charm! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 9, 2019
After trying my friend's, I found it decent enough to buy for myself. I didn't experience any blemishes or sensitive reactions. The coverage is so-so. It's perfect for those days when you don't want to wear foundation but still want a bit of coverage without looking like you've put no effort in. Overall, it's a pretty reliable product I'm using regularly. My nose and forehead tend to get quite oily, and after a while, this product made those areas incredibly shiny. Reapplying over that oil is a disaster. Of course, it's best to blot the oil first, but when you're in a rush... well, you know. For those with dry skin, I'd recommend thoroughly hydrating your skin before application for a nice dewy finish. As with most products that offer more coverage, it can be quite drying. If you're prone to deep dryness, it's crucial to establish a solid skincare base. Even with my oily skin, if I skimp on my skincare routine, this product makes my face feel tight.
