While it applies smoothly at first, it tends to dry out after a while, so good lip care is essential before application. It doesn't fade gracefully, so you need to pay attention to your lips throughout the day. The tint has a substantial feel and stains instantly! You can maintain a beautiful color even while eating. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous... I guess that's Chanel for you! The disappointing part, and why I could only give it two stars... When I tested it and in the reviews, it was a pretty toned-down red-pink. But after testing it a few times under natural light, it turned out to be hot pink..!?!? It's hot pink! I feel deceived. It's a hot pink that suits cool skin tones. This is truly a holy grail lip product for those with deep autumn complexions. The color payoff is more sophisticated than typical drugstore tints, offering a mysterious deep red with subtle hints of cherry and purple. It's not cool-toned though. I absolutely love this unique color effect, and the pigmentation is excellent. The deep shade is exactly what I was looking for. There's not really anything to complain about, except maybe it's a bit weighty due to the glass packaging. The color payoff is beautiful and the formula is easy to apply. It blends nicely with other shades too. It has a slightly oily feel... and a hint of pink undertone, which is a bit disappointing. It looks prettier when layered with a muted red shade rather than worn alone.

I searched three stores before finally finding shade 154 and bought it immediately. The color is a matte red with hints of brown and purple (and maybe a touch of cherry). The color payoff is fantastic and the shades are absolutely gorgeous. The moment you take it out of your bag, it exudes pure luxury. The price is a bit steep, and I wish the product came in a slightly larger size!
