• One of my favorite lipsticks • It's somewhere between a toned-down red brick and a deep purple • I suit muted reds better than bright ones, so I'd recommend this to those with similar preferences • A sophisticated fall/winter color that's not at all tacky • The staying power is quite good too • I don't really have any complaints. I'll definitely repurchase when I run out • If I had to nitpick, the mature color might make you look older if your makeup or hairstyle is too dramatic It looks prettier as a gradient rather than a full lip application - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 24, 2017
The color alone is absolutely gorgeous. And I'm in love with the lipstick case! It's so creamy, glides on smoothly, and of course, doesn't accentuate any dead skin cells. But what about these shimmer particles... Sigh. When my boyfriend went on an overseas trip, I asked him to get me a dusty rose shade from duty-free. He said the staff recommended this one. I forgot to tell him to get a matte one, so he brought back this creamy formula. To make matters worse, it has shimmer in it. I'm not a fan of shimmer in lipsticks, so I keep wondering how I'm going to use this. But that's just my personal preference. Apart from the shimmer, it's beautiful. If you're not into shimmer, try this: after applying the lipstick, use a puff to dab some oil-control powder over your lips. It'll hide the shimmer, tone down the color, and the result is amazing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 25, 2017
The formula contains subtle shimmer, making your lips look plump and glossy when applied. The color is a muted pink-red, perfect for creating a sophisticated autumn/winter vibe. I was pleasantly surprised by Urban Decay's lipstick texture and staying power - it's really impressive. The color payoff is fantastic, and considering it's a department store brand, the price is quite reasonable. I find myself wanting to collect more shades... ahem. This one glides on super smoothly. If you're not careful, this shade can easily look dated. The texture also reminds me of old-school lipsticks, so I strongly recommend testing it before purchasing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 10, 2016
The color has a lower saturation, making it perfect for autumn. Although it's labeled as a cream type, it applies a bit more intensely than a lip balm, feeling moisturizing and smooth on the lips. In person, it's slightly darker than in the photos. It's a sophisticated, calm, and truly autumnal color that works hard to give you that fall vibe. If you have naturally darker lips, this shade might not show up as prominently. There's also a chance it could make you look a bit more mature, depending on your overall look.
